  1. The format will be the usual:
-they will suck for large parts of the season
    – later in the season, wise low tier teams will start tanking and the Heat will get some clutch wins on bottom feeders
    – they will probably fight to scrap into the play-in…

A better option: The smart thing here is to focus on development (build trade packages and see who they want in the next build), prioritise lottery position over wins so they can have either more talent or a desirable trade package without having to trade the farm. For example, they have nothing near enough for say Giannis…not even close, he's going for like 4 to 5 picks and guys who are all-stars or high tier upside guys. They have no shooting, the defense is simply not there and apart from Powell and Ware (when he can be bothered), the offense looks pedestrian. Love the Heat but I HATE mid…sick of mid. They gotta take a hard look at their ethos. A winning season in terms of W's and L's have been overall losses in terms of roster construction progress imo.

  2. We are barley an average team. Trade Wiggens and Rozier for some picks. Focus on youth. Jovic needs to bring the ball up as much as possible. Powell is a good O player but the dude needs to rebound. Could be a long season.

  3. This is gonna be a Looooong year for us Heat Fans, until the front office wakes up and realizes that you can’t keep putting bandaids over deep wounds, this will remain a mediocre franchise.
