Brogdon RETIRES… So What’s NEXT for the Knicks?

Malcolm Brogdon’s sudden retirement changes everything for the Knicks. With the roster deadline fast approaching, New York must find their new backup point guard…will it be Tyler Kolek, or a veteran like Delon Wright, Markelle Fultz, or Victor Oladipo?

  1. You go woth Kolek now and see how it goes. If by the trade deadline it's not working you can always pivot. It's not even clear that Brogdon was even going to play that much.

  2. Wouldn't dinwiddie and Clarkson cancel each outher out since they're basically the same player? All offense (not particularly efficient either) and not much else

  3. They should go pick up Victor Oladipo he seems to be playing really well over there. I think he deserves a shot. Tyler Kolek is not ready.

  4. Knicks fans have a guy on their squad who literally had the best assist to turnover ratio in the entire NBA last year in the month he got to play, but they would rather get some washed up bum veteran who is worse in every metric instead.

It's enough. Stop with the never ending star chase. Some 35+ year old veteran Messiah Savior isn't coming. Every team, including and ESPECIALLY contenders like OKC, are BUILT ON THE BACKS OF THE YOUTH!

if OKC didn't trust rookies, g League and 2nd year players, they wouldn't have won the championship. Knicks fans are insecure to trust their own talent even when it's historically great and it's getting fucking embarrassing

  5. Either Develop Kolek or sign Oladipo 🤷🏻‍♂️ I think that’s really our best bet. Sign Delon Wright if we absolutely HAVE to

  6. Not sure where they go with this one. Who do you think fits best? You didnt mention that Deuce can hold the backup PG spot although thats not where Coach wants to play him. If they decide to sign someone they have to trade Dadiet or Kolek. Tough decision.,,

  7. Id go with kolek nd let him run with clarkson ad the bench. Clarkson gunna be taking most of the bench shots anyway. Itd make 0 sense to bring in someone totall nnew witha couple weeks till the season starts and have them learn the system on the fly. Kolek been and he already knows it

  8. I think kolek needs more playing time but I’d definitely go with Spencer if they can swing it. Durable vet pg

  9. Im 4 developing Tyler so people will lookin at us as a 1 n done team. Look how many players we drafted n cut then look how many we bought from other teams it makes N.Y unattractive 2 other players n draftees. We just now was complaining we aint have enough space 4 our players n sum room freed up wit brogdon departure now u wanna bring in more. N it’s not like it’s a starter spot it’s backup n tyler showed he deserves dat. N if not him Duece. 4 me it’s tied b2ween Tyler, n Deuce i would b happy wit either. Its X 4 N.Y 2 get out da spotlight n buckle down wit what they got n get ready 4 da season. Said it😮😮😮😮

  10. Hey y'all, so I had a weird thought about this whole Malcolm Brogdon retirement saga. What if he just retired to get healthy by mid-season? And he will un-retire once he's healthy, and signs a ["15th" man?] It might be a "handshake deal" with the Knicks in February/March time frame to rejoin the team??? That way, the Knicks don't have to trade either Dadiet or Kolek now. It builds up their potential trade value at mid-season, allows Brogdon to get healthy and rested, & also allows Deuce and Clarkson become secondary & tertiary playmakers.
