Joel Embiid makes his long-awaited return in the Philadelphia 76ers’ preseason finale — scoring 14 points, handing out eight assists with seven rebounds in 18-plus minutes. And most importantly, exiting the game healthy. Rookie VJ Edgecombe starred with 26 points, a ton of activity and plenty of highlights. Oh, yeah — Tyrese Maxey is still good, finishing with a game-high 27 points to lead all scorers in the Sixers’ 126-110 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
