  1. I said it when it happened, the clippers and more specifically Kawhi would not get punished by the league. Adam Silver knows the clippers bring in views and he will shield them as best he can. Silver is trying to hold onto what little views he has while sucking all the money out of the consumers’ pockets. If this has taught us anything, it’s that Adam Silver is a bum

  2. I actually think THE most hilarious championship would be Dallas. That fan base wouldn’t know what to do with Nico Harrison’s β€œi told u so” victory lap πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  3. Playoff James Harden's playoff disappearing talents is greater than Kawai's ability to come through in the playoffs.
    This is fantasy talk.

  4. I think it'd be the Lakers. It would mean luka can defend, reaves is actually perform in the playoffs, lebron shows he can still do it with the refs help, Dalton is an LA folk hero after being traded and then not traded, Ayton shows he isnt a bum when we all know he is. All things that just seem so unlikely

  5. Kawhi Leonard is the most overrated player off all time. He's doing nothing as a ''superstar '' since he left Toronto. Did he have any really good regular seasons with the clippers ? No. Did he have any good playoff runs with the Clippers ? Also no. Yet nobody talks about this enough how he's absolutly failed in LA.

  6. That would fuck the nba so bad lol
Because they'd have to invalidate it.

Paying Kawhi outside of the salary cap gives them a clear advantage on the court.

If they do nothing, its a stain on the league that will follow them for decades.

  7. Hilarious and essentially proof of divine intervention by something or somebody. That team has… no depth. None. They are similar to last season's Nuggets. An injury or two and they are a much worse team because no depth. Kawhi or Harden or Zubac or Collins goes down for an extended period to the season and they struggle to make the play-in. Especially if the injury happens early and costs them a lot of regular season wins.

The Nuggets on the other hand… now have a 2nd rotation five that would, individually, start at every position for some team. Big Val for sure. PWat for sure. BB almost certainly somebody like Washington. Tim Hardaway would get some interest from a team like the Heat to tide them over for buckets until Herro is 100% again. Julian Strawther maybe a team or two for 2nd rotation shooting off the bench for sure like he does for Denver. Jalen Picket would probably get a really close look from Houston with Van Fleet down for the season.

  8. Nah, it would be an asterisk. If you can backdoor that much money to circumvent the cap, other teams would be more successful doing it. A ring wouldn't change Beal, Harden or Paul. One ring over the better part of the decade wouldn't justify Kawhi's pay or headaches. Simply not healthy and too old.
