The best coach in the nba knows how to come up with a competent offense and doesn’t blow a record amount of leads and get dog walked in the playoffs like that and they also know how many timeouts they have
The Heat are currently forgettable, same with Bam last year, therefore easy to see why they forgot about him.
Please name me how many games last year that Bam had impactful defense? Idk why Heat media see Bam in this glorious light but anyone with eyes can see he is not a highly impactful player.

Wes needs drug tested… Scottie the best defensive player of all time? Bam was the leader of a team that got swept losing by 40 & 60pts on their home floor last year to boston. Bam doesn't deserve any honorable mentions for any award til he proves it.
Trade bam he’s making Wiggins look horrible and when herro comes back and we bench bam Adebayo we need a starting line up like pg: Tyler herro sg: Norman Powell sf: Andrew Wiggins pf: Nikola Jovic c: Kelel where like we will have the real Andrew Wiggins back if we have that starting lineup.
Bam is the only power forward that can guard all five positions
No one discredits Bam’s defense and what he’s been able to do in previous years but his offense is so inconsistent it’s frustrating. Dude can’t make a layup, a floater or a hook shot. Not to mention his back to the basket game is practically non existent. He’s shown he can’t bully smaller players in the paint which is astonishing because you see his frame; 6’9, athletic, muscular and yet he remains inefficient. This team doesn’t have Jimmy anymore to lead the offense Bam is in year 9 and we are still waiting for him to blossom into an effective offensive player.
Bam is not a paint protector. Hes good at staying in front of guys. That’s the best he’s got. It’s not disrespectful it’s just bam is not excelling and more defenders are coming in the league every year. Bam needs to wake up and realize he will be left behind if he doesn’t start working on his game. Not working on the same game he’s had
What is it with the Miami media being surprised that Bam is not recognized. I watch every game and I barely recognize that he’s out there. All this talk about him being a guy that does a lot of little things “that don’t show up on the box score” doesn’t make him a #1 option let alone paid like a #1 option
Well, the thing is, you guys have been overrating every aspect of Bam’s game for years. No one in this comment section who knows ball is surprised.
Centers absolutely torched us last year when Bam was defending them. He doesn’t defend 4s and 5s are an elite level, but since he can defend 1s and 2s well for his position you guys decided that he’s the greatest defender in the universe.
Mitchell Robinson defends the perimeter about as well, and defends the post much better, but you guys want to bring up unfalsifiable mumbi jumbo whenever confronted with such reality. “He sets screens better than anyone”.
BAM IS NOT AN ELITE BASKETBALL PLAYER. GIVE IT UP, IT’S HURTING THE TEAM
The delusions around Bam are insane. Top 5 defender without having to look it, ever.
“Everyone wants to play with Bam, he’s a great recruiter.” Literally no one has come here to play with Bam. Who else gets to be called great at something they have never succeeded in?
Worst of all, even beyond the contract that will hurt this team GUARANTEED, is that he makes Spo a worse coach. Spo’s crush on Bam gets prioritized all the time. Our horrible pace and shot diet has been to make Bam comfortable. This is a guy that should be scoring 100% of his points on lobs and putbacks (and open 3s now) but we have him shooting these inefficient midrange shots, and have others trying to set him up for said inefficient shots.
Enough is enough. Bam was once good for the Heat, now he’s bad for the team. Just like Jimmy playing with no effort and being hurt all the time. He had to go, now Bam has to go.
