Everybody's talking about the rockets and how big they can play but they can't play as big as the Mavericks might play. This team is really talented and I think they can be good without Kyrie Irving. I am far from a fan of D'Angelo Russell but he's good enough to throw lobs. I don't even know that they're going to miss Kyrie a tan if they play to their strengths. I don't want to see Cooper Flagg as the point guard/ forward though. We saw that whole thing fail in San Antonio. I think it's going to take them a little while to figure it out but once they do they're going to be a tough team to play. I see them more as the six seed though. Watch out next year if AD doesn't get hurt.

I’m surprised you didn’t even mention the suns as a honourable mention. They could legitimately finish as a 6-7 seed or way down as even the 14th seed. Jalen Green is a massive wildcard but brooks has always been on competitive teams.
Some of these teams like Celtics Bucks or Pacers might honestly purposefully tank in hopes of Dybantsa Peterson or Boozer

For me, the spurs depends on two things: Wemby and Fox's physical stability, and how quickly their young players can step up. I think they will for sure make the playoffs, even if Wemby or Fox miss huge chunks of the season, but not higher than the 3rd seed even with all the stars alligned
Raptors, Kings and Heat are not confusing teams. They're not gonna do well. Instead you should have added Hawks, Clippers and Lakers.

Houston with the VanVleet injury are they still gonna be at the top of the west and who's gonna start Reed Sheppard, Amen Thompson, or hell maybe Aaron Holiday.
Phoenix, I think Jalen Green can be a fringe all-star and if we get back 2022 Book they could be a 7-8 seed
Chicago, What if Josh Giddey is an all star or Matas Buzelis breaks out, I think they're deep with guys like Dosunmu, Zach Collins, White etc so they could be a play in team
Finally Cleveland, key contributors like Garland and Strus are gonna be out, what can they get out of Tyson, Lonzo, Merrill, and Okeke, they can be a 60 win team or a play in team
