Ayton is one of those guys that you cannot win with.
Ayton is not going to get better. Especially with the Lakers. He will be a focal point for all their losses this season. If he doesn't block at least 3 shots and average double digit rebounds he'll be crucified by Laker fans. Every bad game will broken to each play. Portland paid him to leave and he wasn't in demand league wide. The Lakers are hoping to get the DA that eliminated them a couple of years ago but in that system with those players? …No. The Lakers have a roster that is not built to compete but it is a holding pattern for this season for Luka to take control and for them to scan the league for deals this season they can make and this off season. The Lakers have no real money or trade value that is going to improve the roster. This is going to be a bridge season with a possible playoff appearance and exit like last year. Bottom line no chip and more questions at the end of this season.
