Gabe Vincent should not start – he should be traded along with Kleber. Hopefully we can get a younger guard or wing in exchange for them.
Lakers are not a deep squad . They know they need a solid Bigman but they didn't pursue it . Jaxon Hayes isn't the right one to backup Ayton . They have no defence , Kobe said soft . They should be aggressive to build the team to be champions. I don't see this team well . As I said before Defence wins the championship. Marcus isn't enough . Doncic with Reaves won't win championships both aren't defensive . should be balanced from offence to Defence . Don't play Luka with Reaves . Luka start Reaves should be in a second unit . Smart , Gabe , Luka , Rui and Ayton . That's the starting five for me . JJ should put his players to play solid defence.

Just watched the kings game and we look very slow out there and DeAndre can't jump over a damn shot glass. It's sad when Lebron is so much more athletic than anybody on our starting 5 that's not gonna get it done 😢

JJ doesn’t have a movement offense the ball doesn’t move. Too much iso ball. A few traps on the ball handler and the offense fragments. (Eg Twolves trapped Luka) And yes their defense still sucks. I’m a big Laker fan but the truth be told JJ is limited. I’ve been to a closed Laker practice with Phil Jackson with Shaq Kobe Horry Fisher and Fox. Phil had them Moving the ball in the triangle. Of course shaq Kobe took over but role players knew exactly where to be, when to cut, screen etc. GSW will win by 15 Tuesday unfortunately.

This is why I like JJ because he actually thinks in terms of matchups. He doesn't just scheme as if every team is the same. This is why Darvin Hamburger Helper will probably never get another head coaching job unless it's for some terrible organization like the Brooklyn Nets. Vando and Jake's shot getting decent would solve so many things.
It really doesn't matter we don't have any confidence in the Lakers or the organization or its ownership
Refilled at the Lakers will be 2 and 8 in the first 10 games they will never recover they will not make the playoffs and they would just be a team full of turmoil we don't feel like LeBron is going to play until after the All-Star game and at that point it won't really matter
We feel that every team has gotten better than the Lakers have a better Coach and better ownership and a better direction a defensive and offensive identity which makes them better we feel the Lakers are going to be the laughing stock of basketball and we're prepared to just ignore the whole damn thing😅
Show us too much baby drama mama and no direct established identity so we don't have any faith at all in the Lakers and we're just not interested maybe next year😮

Honestly I like the idea of rotating lineups. Luka, Reaves, and Ayton for sure are starters. Then you fill the other two spots situationally
Against the wolves it has to be Smart to guard Ant. What are you guys thinking slotting in Jake? Hell, we signed Smart to guard guys like this so it shouldn’t be much of a question.

The Lakers are committed to having Luka and Reaves at guard so this early I would go with Smart or really giving Vando a committed starting tryout. If Smart is not healthy enough to play a lot of minutes the best upside roster would include Vando, hopefully playing well. If after 2 weeks or so its apparent Vando isn't working out as a starter then you change up the lineup. It seems like under the optimal conditions if you want this team to be one of the top teams in the west you need to have Ayton and either Smart or Vando playing well to complement Luka, Lebron, Reaves and Rui.
DFS was the glue that made the team stick together last year……now we have bought instant glue with Smart and I am not sure it is going to hold or not….sometimes it is better to stick with what works.
