It makes no sense that makes no sense to me he's better than Stephen Curry and they got Carrie shooting 3-pointers all over the place and then they send Reed Shepherd down to another League he had no business being in that lower league he's always been this good I don't know what they own

Van Fleet out could be a blessing for the rockets development. Coach Udoka needs to take a punt and give Reed game time. I can only see him getting better with regular play. Definitely think he has a high ceiling. Playing Alperen as a hybrid guard should take the pressure off. Let the man play and his confidence will rocket pun intended.
Reed Sheppard, Stephon Castle, and Kelel Ware are names we'll be hearing for years. Hopefully Reed gets his ring first

His defense is under rated. We know he can shoot.
Reed could have been doing this last year, he played this way in college. Udok had him buried on the corner, frustrating as hell
If he averages 20pts a game over the season I’d say that’s a huge success
The defense this boy got in the off-season was on point. You can tell Reed hit the gym, he was a monster on defense tonite. All he has to work on now is being consistent with his three's and he'll be the most dangerous player on the court

No doubt, Jalen and Reed are the Rockets' two worst wasted draft picks of the last decade!
The Rockets are trying to polish up Reed and Holiday, (even if possible Tate and Tari too) so they can sell them, so Atlanta knew that and played it as a G-league game tried to avoid any preseason injuries.
Reed Sheppard's ceiling in 3-4 years is that he could become a second Aaron Holiday, both are mediocre shooters who lack physicality on both offense and defense, nothing more.
Even JD Davison will undoubtedly have a much more successful NBA career than Reed.
I can see him being an important role player for years to come. His ceiling is TJ McConnell and Payton Prichard combined

I told folks that his game is Devin Booker + a little bit of Steve Nash…. They called me a clown 🤐 I’m not saying he’s gonna be AS GOOD, just talking play style….. he has one of the CLEANEST SMOOTHEST styles of play I’ve seen…… PRIME Paul George , Devin Booker type of smooth…. They make the game

2 different scenarios. Atl wants to see the team mesh. And we are trying to see what lineups and who can we use in those lineups. Yes we have the 2nd and 3rd squad out there, but they are competing! Atl is competitive as well but they’re trying and failing at different things rn trying to see how they gel. I do think we have an amazing team and still am very hyped for this season. But i don’t take this game as proof.
Even last year when he got the opportunites he played great if he wa on a bad team he would be looked at as the best player in that draft class
