  1. crazy how a lot of players are already injured. It's like they dont want to play for the kings or something lmao

  2. Trade him, I don’t want to but you gotta do it when his value is still high and he’s young. Aquire picks or package him with some other pieces and get an elite player

  3. It just gets crazier, guess even with Domas at full strength this would have been a bumpy start. From my understanding Westbrick is going to be taking the roster spot of Terrance Davis so who might help this team more …. yeah guess Russ is a minor improvement there. Keegan got a fair deal, what is a top five two way player worth? Keeping my fingers crossed that this side show doesn't win in the teens and give Zach a restructure to keep him here longer using the injuries as an excuse to run this back

  4. Matt, what happened to the poll you did showing Westbrook was not wanted by the fans in Sacramento? Fan opinion doesn’t matter now? This was a very poor signing by a dysfunctional franchise. You dismissing it as low risk/minor signing doesn’t change that fact. None of the team’s needs have been addressed and the excuse of not having a “back up” point guard is moot when half the team is comprised of guards. Many of whom have the basic skill of bringing the ball up court, which is all you need.

  5. Matt, if Christie was an outsider, I'd be worried a little, but he loves this team and this city. I'm not worried about Doug jumping ship

  6. What the hell kind of management and ownership goes from having Fox and Haliburton to Schroder and Westbrook in 3 years? From "up and coming" to "placeholder trash".

  7. This team isn't going anywhere in a positive direction. They need to let the young guys play and develop, not fight for the 11th seed.

Russ is fine as a player, but to try and eek out another win or two is short-sighted for a franchise that is inept in so many ways.

For years they jave rhought they were "one good vet" away from title contention or something, when they are 1 or 2 star players away from title contention.

  8. Hamstring injuries, even if they're considered. Strains and minor, are a forever thing. They rear their ugly head at any moment.

  9. In an interview on Wednesday, LaVine hinted at some issues with Christie's coaching. LaVine said that successful teams play to the strengths of their players, rather than trying to re-mould them into something that fits with the coach's vision. LaVine also said, you wouldn't put Harden in the corner to shoot threes, and neither would you try to remake a player with massive career success playing one way (hint:DeRozan, try to make him play a totally different way. Note also how negative Christie has already become in his postgame pressers.

  10. Scott Perry being extended makes sense, but if Doug doesn't work out that is what it is. Scott Perry might be a great gm, but if the basketball is bad and Doug is a bad hc then we should hire a proven coach. It's not fair to saddle Perry with a new head coach. We're going to lose a lot and it's hard to keep faith with the locker room or the ownership if you're losing a ton of games.

  11. Just more Sac Kings "BUFFOONERY" LOL!!! However, as dysfunctional as the Kings seem to always be, I'm still sooooooooooo happy to still have an NBA franchise, for our entertainment, in the city of Sacramento. No matter what, a not so good Sacramento Kings NBA franchise in the city of Sac, is better than no NBA franchise in SAC at all. Besides, I always very much look forward to getting my hands on one of those delicious hot link dogs at The Golden 1 Center every season LOL!!!
