We have the best back court in the league. D-White and Pritchard will be all-stars. Everything will come down to how the bigs play; what Joe can get from them. And injuries. 45+ wins. And an entertaining "underdog" team to watch, in wins and losses.
What some people in the media don’t understand about the media game is the fact that Joe is not on their side. There is no “mutual respect”, Joe has not respect for media and does not think that you know anything about basketball. He wanted to make you look like idiots, and you’re falling for the bait. It’s going to be really hard to up Simon’s trade value when there are guys like Cam Thomas on $11 million contracts. I just don’t think any team goes after him unless they are desperate.
I disagree with Sherrod about Simon. I don’t think he made anything about the game look easy besides that one game where he was hitting. 3s. but from that preseason he was struggling with pressure. I didn’t find his passing or dribbling to be as good as I thought it was going to be. On top of the defense being a mess. He struggles to defend without fowling.
I think there is a couple point guards that make far less than Simon that teams with target before him. I mean, I know I already said it, but Cam Thomas is an obvious one. Little guards that don’t play defense are not in high demand
I’m with John. I am a little worried about Jaylin’s durability as well. Just because of what I’ve seen other players deal with when it comes to knee issues. It just seems to linger up randomly.
Dybansta looked good against Wisconsin in their exhibition. He had 30. Was hitting the three ball. He kind of reminds me of a bigger Jalen for some reason. He just attacked the rim with force.
Celtics are gonna score points and play hard. That separates them from the bottom feeders of the league, most of whom play in the East. Celtics will finish above .500 and make the playoffs.
