I think the anger with Murray is his contract. He is getting elite level pay but he is not playing elite level. I think the Nuggets fans would be happy with Murray if he was getting in the 30-40 million a season so that would free up cap space to get other quality players. Murray isn't the problem; his contract is the problem.
With bench this good, we might see some Joker minutes here and there

This is the first time Murray has shown up in shape. Easy to find some one to score 21 PPG. Dine a dozen. What hard is finding players that can play 70+ games hard and Murray has never done that. No way I gave him that kind of cash. 40 Mill is about right. Hope he plays 75 games this year and makes the all important "All Star team" and prove me wrong.
I think people want Murray’s contract gone. I like him. He’s a very good player. Nuggets fans who want to trade him are so dumb. We’re not getting the return we got for MPJ.

You underestimated Val. Jokic didn't play against OKC, Val played and Denver dominated the first 3 quarters. In addition, Jokic and Val can be on the court at the same time in some matches, so Val can play more than 15 minutes, maybe even 20, which will be great for Jokic so he doesn't have to exhaust himself every night like last season.
Sad to see MPJ go but now Murray gets the depth he needs and Jokic gets a true back up.
One thing you mustn't do is count your chicks before your eggs hatch. You might end up eating your words and look like a fool.

Murray is streaky, gets injured a lot and gets a large cheque, though he does step up post season..
My biggest problem with him is his need to flex while staring directly into the camera causing defensive problems due to lack of focus and being out of position..
I get amping yourself up but do it while running back on D and keep your eye on the ball…
I think Adelmans plan is for Spencer Jones to be the 10th man and play 8 minutes a game by the way. He will be putting out full court pressure the entire time and trying to rush the other team into their sets. Dude is quick and strong on defense. He’s going to be a small X factor for us imo.
I’m a Thunder fan and if these 2 teams face off in the playoffs again I think it would be easily one of the most exciting series we’ve seen in many years. Obviously it went into a game 7 last season so I bet it could happen again this year. Thunder gaining more experience and having young fresh bodies with the depth they have plus Denver upgrading and getting more bench depth will be incredibly interesting. It’s too bad they don’t play eachother until way late in the season because I am beyond stoked to see these teams match up
