The Philadelphia 76ers Backcourt Is SPECIAL…

There are a lot of fair questions and doubts about the 76ers this season. Will Embiid play half the season? Is Paul George the washed version of himself we saw last year? Can they return to the playoffs? But one exciting turn is that the backcourt looks elite. The 76ers had their preseason finale tonight, and it was a big deal because of Embiid’s return to the court. But it was the young guards that stole the show. We already know Maxey is an elite talent. He averaged 26 points per game last year, and has already made an all-star team. He showed up tonight, finishing with 27 points and 7 assists. There is a lot of anticipation heading into the season for third overall pick VJ Edgecombe, who I already compared to Dwayne Wade. He had 26 points and 5 steals tonight, scoring 13 straight points for Philly at one point. He looks ready to be a real contributor right away. Despite Quentin Grimes just officially being re-signed like a week ago, he doesn’t appear to have any rust. He added 22 points and 5 assists in this game. It was 20+ for each of the young guys in the backcourt. All three are 25 or younger as well, setting up Philly to be stacked for the future. That’s not even including Jared McCain, who looked like a budding star in his own right last year before going down with injury. The 76ers seem to be in the back end of the Joel Embiid era, but they have successfully set themselves up for the future in the meantime. It doesn’t look like we’ll be going back to a Process level rebuild anytime soon. The Philadelphia 76ers have found their backcourt of the future.

Think about subbing, I’m on the road to 15k!!!

  1. Great video title. No annoying, “it’s not fair” like they broke some rules or something, or everyone is “scared” forgetting it’s just bball, not a slasher movie

  2. Sixers can't even maximize their roster and salary cap. We are playing handicapped. On a 15 man roster, we have 14 men and 1 podcaster. We are paying the podcaster $50 mil a year.

  3. Nick nurse going to run embeid in the ground i personally don't think nurse is a good coach he got lucky with Kwai Leonard

  4. elite backcourt , elite losing record too , theyll keep losing as long as Darly Morey at the helm , hes cursed
