The Golden State Warriors Forward Trio Is Actually Terrifying

Aside from being in that amazing part of the Buddy Hield cycle , 3 through 5 is what’s most intriguing about the dubs right now. Green, Kuminga and Butler combined to outscore the Lakers by +44 while posting 21 rebounds and 19 assists between the 3 of them.

  1. As an elder person, my impression of society and politics is there is so much divisive hate and clash of ideology that is truly distressing. Thank you God for sports. I have never welcomed the start of the NBA as much before. For the longest time, most teams sought that generational center to build their team around (in spite of the exemplary success of the Celtics and believe it or not, the Knicks in featuring a five man approach). So for several decades were some of the most dominant big men the game has ever seen. Then came Michael Jordan and it seemed there was a shift towards superstar guards and emerging search for these do it all power forwards. Well, Kerr comes out of this era and he seems to want to continue to field teams that require all five players on the court to mesh offensively and defensively. However, having to sit through 2 overtimes before I could watch my beloved Warriors, I couldn't help but notice that both Houston and Oklahoma have some very dominant big men….and how about Dallas. So this season is going to see a clash of basketball philosophies (which I prefer over the clash of ideologies). This first game is the blueprint of the Warriors and I realized that for the Warriors to succeed, this season more than ever, it's all hands on deck…it has to be Strength in Numbers….herculean Steph games can only come in spurts due, I'm sorry to say, to the age of the core. If the take it all, it will be historic because, quite frankly, a team of this age has never done it before. The one stat that truly give hope, even though while watching the game the four threes of JK was exciting, was leading the team with 9 rebounds. As Draymond said, that is what leads to winning basketball.
