another spo signature masterclass benching ware and getting destroyed on the offensive rebounds to lose the game. how many years has it been like this with spo benching bigs cuz they made a 'mistake' in the 2nd quarter that made him call a timeout and pout and cry and scream and run on the court doing the gangnam style yelling at the player?? im just a casual fan but i watch almost every game for years and years and its disgusting year after year watching spo make the same mistakes and never learning and yelling at the big and blaming it on them.
This absolutely looked like a “worthy to win” game, and this Orlando team might be one of the best in the east this year. I am excited to see them build on this!

Bro Davion really is saving Basketball in general 🔥. Jovic, Bam had a great start but man what happened at the end?! Jovic couldn’t drive in where it was needed to shift their defense and Bam just really got boxed out of the plays. Norman really balled out today in his Heat debut 🔥. Ware of course was injured but man we needed him in those last mins of the game cause Bam can’t rebound against the Orlando’s 6’10 and above starting 5. Jaime did great scoring wise but man they were really targeting him in the defensive end. Overall this game was entertaining af, the potential is there and with Herro it’s going to be hard to decide on a concrete starting five. I think it all depends of matchups on different games starting 5. It can be Tyler, Norman, Jovic, Bam, Ware. With Davion, Jaime, Wiggins, Simon and Bam. It can be Davion, Tyler, Jovic, Bam, Ware. But BAM AND WARE HAVE TO START CAUSE THIS SMALL BALL IS NOT WORKING IN 2025-2026. GO HEAT KEEP IMPROVING 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Orlando is likely to be a top 4 team in the East, arguably could have 2 all NBA level guys in Banchero and Wagner. The minutes Ware played he was not up against the starting unit, Yes he would be great rebounding, but what got us the lead and kept this competitive was our offensive pace… Which we are just starting to get used to, our offence actually looked planned and clean for the first time in idk how long.
Bam has the ability to switch onto Banchero and Wagner at the perimeter, which Ware does not he would get driven on and likely give up a foul or easy bucket. Bam multiple times made a stop on Banchero in and outside of the paint.
If we played both yes defensively we'd be better off, but then you casuals would just complain about our offence being shit in the closing minutes again. As our fast paced offence that Jaquez, Mitchell, Powell, Wiggs and Fontecchio all looked great in.
If we had Herro i'd bet money we win this game, I thought we looked like the better team tbh even this game.
Instead of just blaming Spo, respect the fact that Orlando is gigantic and is one of the best offensive rebounding teams in the league, thats why they are so favourably looked at.
