Look y’all I’m a rockets fan and Amen as a player has been so far everything you can hope from a young player but damn seeing Wemby tonight just shows the different levels of players. Amen will probably be an mvp someday but Wemby is just something else. How the hell can you be 7’6 block another 7 footers shot on one end of the floor and not just a rotation block a straight up man on man block then a few possessions later you hit a step back 3 after showing off legit handles. Then it was an and 1 on top of that. I’m someone who’s the biggest Jordan fan and I’m ready to admit it. If Wemby stays healthy and doesn’t become the GOAT I think he underachieved and I know it’s unfair but Hell he’s unfair so you have to shoot for the moon. We could be seeing the best player ever in real time.

The Knicks were short handed too why is this narrative that they weren’t short handed is going out. They didn’t have Josh hart and Mitch wtf… and newsflash the Cavs were favored
As a Knicks fan, my biggest issue has always been not allowing other guys to bring the ball up and initiate the offense. The lack of bench usage was frustrating as well, but not showing defenses other looks with Brunson off ball was by far the most infuriating issue being a Knicks fan. This years team does have more depth, but even last year they had more than enough capable players they could run the offense through for a few possessions to alleviate some pressure for JB as well as give the defense a different look.

We will see how good is Wemby's endurance, stamina and strength. Loved him going away from forcing 3s, it's one thing to follow and determine if hes settling. Other thing to watch is his decision making when things get tight.
He's likely still several years behind optimal but this was nice sneak peak into what can be on the regular in the future highlighting primarily his ability.
That 3 play stretch that ended in the tween stepback 3 is the moment I said the glaze is warranted. Wemby is easily a top 5 player if he plays anything close to that all year long
