I never bought into the Mavs hype. Cooper will be good, but with Kyrie still out and Anthony Davis being Anthony Davis, Cooper Flagg + the ghost of Klay Thompson is not enough to compete in this stacked western conference.

Of course you think Flagg is the great white hope. You're white and love white. VJ Edgecombe is better, much better. But hey, we understand where you are coming from. It's always like that with white dudes, liking themselves and people who look like them. Flagg, flat out sucked and there's no telling if he will become an All Star or just another Wagner or Markkenan. But SHHHHHH, don't say that out loud because Dallas fans had their heart broken when Luka went to LA and where hoping that Flagg would be the answer to their prayers. NOPE. Flagg is nowhere near Luka Doncic. Flagg can't dribble in traffic. Never could, never will. He has to either pick up the ball and travel or settle with jumpers or circus shots. Which is what he did last night. So whomp whomp. He just a normal player.

Dallas used to have this really talented playmaker called Luka Doncic he is exactly what the team needs right now.
Cooper Flagg is a more natural SF.His handle is not there yet still only 18yrs old.D'Angelo Russell should be their PG until Kyrie Irving gets back.
