The only thing I regret about how the in season tournament was conceived, is that East and West ONLY meet in the finals, just like the playoffs.
That way, it's basically just a condensed version of the playoffs after the group phase, except it's an instant death type of thing.
I would've liked it if East and West met earlier, a.k.a. as soon as knockouts started. That would give it a totally different feel as simply 'condensed playoffs'.
Ah well maybe they'll change it someday. 😊🙏
