I think a top 10 defense is most likely
Chauncey having them play at an insane pace is going to wear them down over the course of the season and the defense will suffer because of it. So many guys are banged up already.
Sure, they will be a top 8-10 defense, but what about the other side of the floor?
I hope they don't rely on Sharpe too much, he is not a great outside shooter and is not efficient enough.
This team just needs a KD like trade after they make the playoffs this year, follow the houston path, i thought it was dumb when they were saying that last summer but hey things change. there needs to be an unguardable player on the team
only two teams have missed the playoffs in the last ten years with a defensive rating of better than tenth, if the blazers are better than 10th defensively they are play in at the very least
Some of the Blazers lineups could be absolutely filthy defensively.
Imagine a Jrue-Matisse-Deni-Camara-Clingan lineup.
Or a Jrue-Deni-Camara-Jerami-Timelord lineup (that’s FOUR all-defense guys)
Scoot and Shaedon are improving a lot on the defensive end as well. I like this prediction a lot.
