The Pistons Season Is Officially Over

In this video, I break down the latest update on Ivey, what it means for the Pistons this season, and how the team can possibly move forward after this setback. Pistons fans, this one hurts.

What do you think this means for Detroit’s future? Can the team bounce back from this, or is the season already slipping away? Drop your thoughts in the comments ⬇️

  1. I learned from the Greg Oden and Brandon Roy days knee issues are extremely serious. There is no such thing as minor knee surgery.

  2. You need to relax, Krispy. I know Jaden Ivey is out but it could be so much worse. I mean the 49ers’ entire roster is injured right now.

  3. Hope you're doing well my man. We're still lurking around here. Gotta be honest though I haven't watched a game of basketball in 2 seasons. It's become the sport where I just look at the standings a couple times per month. I don't need to watch too know how it is to be a fan of the Pistons, they're just one of those teams. Forever cursed. Who knows though maybe we'll live to be 90 and we'll see one more Pistons ring. Maybe they go 2004, 2054, 2104

  4. k, I'm not with you on the Ivey thing. Yeah, he's a good player, but Cade's big breakout was last year without him. And him coming back, and not being a particularly good 3-point shooter, I was more concerned they'd get in each other's way. I'm not saying it's a good thing Ivey's out, I'm just saying this is may simplify things for Cade, and you see the best he can give, rather than watch the Pistons try to put on two left shoes in their back court.

  5. Krispy I have a message for you. Trust Cade. He's the goat. Pistons will hover around 500 without Jaden Ivey, and the shoot up when he gets back

  6. Pistons will be fine. The only player I’d trade for is Devin Booker. He’d be a beast next to Cade and Book’s from Michigan. Otherwise maybe Lauri Markkanen, but the Jazz GM only be making trades when he can fleece the other team so probably not worth it. Probably best to just stay the course though and not shake things up. They’re still young and improving don’t need to do anything drastic.

  7. I asked Mr. Grok about Jaden’s injury history, and it’s worth noting that he hasn’t missed any significant time in the NBA during his first two seasons. That is, until Cole Anthony’s reckless play sidelined him for most of his third year. The reality is that Ivey has been putting in the work to come back at full strength, and it feels disrespectful to have him included in trade talks during his first real setback—his second, if you count having Monty as his head coach. Maybe we should give him the benefit of the doubt and trust that he’ll return stronger and play himself back into NBA shape as the season progresses—just like Ausar did.

  8. This news broke my heart because now we don’t have a 2nd option or 2nd playmaker with Ivey being out..and we don’t have a stretch big coming off the bench..Beasley won’t be enough..the East is more competitive than ppl think now that Embid is back

  9. I wouldn’t trade Ivey because of his potential and his age..Thompson and Duran would be off limits as well..I would move Ivey to the bench until he gets back healthy..I would trade our draft picks because we already have our core

  10. Hayes come back we win a Championship.

We had our best season in over 10 years with Ivey gone. Hes expendable.

DInwidle is the option. Id prefer DInwiddle over Levert.

Ivey is not the perfect fit for Cade. Come on bro. Good? Maybe, but perfect? Hasnt even been proven.

  11. So Ivey is injury prone because someone else broke his leg? Yal have to relax on blaming Ivey for everything. I hope he does get traded so people can find another scapegoat.
