Wasted a KD masterclass
Reed, Sengun, Jabari and Amen all shot under 27.8% from field. Idk if it’s cause the Piston’s defense is just that good, or if they weren’t feeling it today.

Mavs and Rockets 0-2, the best teams to contend. Something is happening! Something is missing on both teams, what could it be? But I want to say, very good, excellent game for Detroit. It's a very competitive team, and Cade Cunningham is a real Dawg. He has been showing who he really is.
I know it's early in the season to say this but KD is seriously going to block the development of our young guys. We don't need KD's 30ppg if it means we lose to an undermanned Pistons team AT HOME – We need defense and tough leadership. KD offers none of that. KD is only an elite scorer – Not an elite player. 6'11/7ft and yet has never had a double double rebound or 2bpg season. Dwayne Wade has more blocks than KD, and J Kidd, Westbrook all were better rebounders than KD – And they are all guards. KD is just a one way scorer. We don't need that. Sengun and Thompson should have been the focus. Dillon Brooks would have been a dog in these types of games. I swear by my stance that KD is overrated as a player. Top 3 GOAT scorer, IMO, but nothing more. You Have Giannis, TD, KG at similar sizes who would consistently give you 25ppg, 12rpg, 2bpg. That type of player is who KD should have been. Trade KD for someone younger who can rebound and isn't lazy on D… This team makes WCF.

Scoring no problems… defense yes for Rockets. Too many slow players. Need rotate better. Full course defende mixed it.
Idk where were you going Sengun but it was a bad bad decision why attacking the crowded rim when you down 2 with seconds left in the game knowing you had space to pull up a foul line jumper or teardrop 😢
