Here's what I think. If the Spurs hadn't signed Kornet this summer, they could have lost this game when Wembanyama fouled out in OT. But tonight, the Spurs actually scored more points than the Pelicans when Wembanyama was on the bench. That probably wouldn't have happened last year.
Oh, and btw. This time last year, there were people saying Castle couldn't play the point guard position. Where are those people today? 😂
With Fox back we pretty much have two starting lineups. Wemby/Kornett, Barnes/Sochan, Johnson/Champagnie, Castle/Vassell, Fox/Harper. Plus Bryant. Damn what a team.
