I understand why they are playing Cooper at PG. It's to teach him the plays (Kidd did the same thing with Giannis). But if the Mavs are trying to win and compete when Kyrie returns, they can't run him at point too much…

Wemby is easily the best player in the NBA. It’s not even remotely close. He is double the player that even the joker is the way he plays defense and moves without a ball. Everything that he does, his hand handling his shooting. He’s easily the best player to ever touch a basketball in year three
If wemby wanted to average 50 this season he could ain’t nobody stopping him from anything and you not scoring on him either

Just a little context here, Cooper Flagg scored a double double in his debut NBA game, that’s nothing to sneeze at. He is also the 2nd youngest player to ever debut in a NBA game by just 2 days after LeBron James. LeBron is a legend and had an all time great rookie season. In looking at a few all star level players that were all either a year or two older than Flagg I learned that many of them didn’t do great either in their first game.
