    Yes, no sense of offensive or defensive identity. There isn't a leader on the floor. No one driving the team. A sailboat without a rudder or captain or sails. These guys are lost.

    To be fair we need to take into account that NOONE saw Kyrie injury coming. If we had Kyrie this team would be a favorite to win a championship. With all the money tied up we can’t afford a better PG. there only so much he can do at this point.

    The really sad part of this is that after Nico is gone Patrick Dumont will still be the governor. Even a guy that knows nothing about basketball should know i5 was bad business trade the face of the franchise, the identity of the franchise, that all the teams marketing had successfully encouraged the customer base to love.

    Yeah, I also get tired of the "Klay is washed" crap. He was brought in to space the floor for Luka and Kyrie, and knock down open 3s when teams double teamed one of them. He WAS the missing piece, 100%. EVERYONE on the roster is struggling with this current team makeup. Klays not the issue. In fact…he's like the only guy that can shoot. Though PJ and Flagg are shooting well too.

    Im completely in favor of firing Nico, but it's only two games. Right now it's just Cooper Flagg, Anthony Davis and spare parts. Let them figure it out and gel.

    Clearly we’ve learned that Flagg, Davis and PJ ARE NOT POINT GUARDS and shouldn’t initiating the offense (18 turnovers!). The entire bench had one turnover in 91 minutes!
    Those guys know their role.
    The Nembhard experiment is over….clearly he needs a few months in the G-league.
    Finally we need to settle on a point guard and primarily play just that guy, because we likely just have minutes for one. Next game let’s give Brandon Williams 30 minutes and see what he can do, because we know what we get with DLo and Klay(7-29).
    Naji and Christie at the 2 and Lively, Gafford, Davis, Flagg and PJ covering the minutes in the front court.
    After two games like this I don’t care about the tender egos of Klay and DLo.
    We need a tight eight man rotation, not a chaotic 10 man rotation.
    F*** team harmony.

    It's two games! But being a marketer myself, I understand that you have to lean into sensationalism for attention. I hate that part (all social media not just you}.
    But your vitriol towards Nico Harrison is other worldly. I started listening to your show about 5 years because I thought you and Nick were fans, but balanced in your approach towards the Mavericks.
    I just don't like to listen as much any more.
    But, I get it. Likes and subscribes flow toward polarization. It's the nature of the beast (social media).

    even if kyrie was healthy, putting this amount of pressure on him wouldn't be right, if we made a play to get dlo then we should play dlo regardless of the consequences, its got to be better than having guys that are 6"10 bringing the ball up

    Probably a good GM overall, but seems to makt terrible & emotional decisions w/ no accountability.
    The concept of trading one of the best players ever for a really-really good player, that is aging & has injury concerns, but not much else doesn't make sense.
    Now after so much luck!?! He seemingly is undecided on how or where to use the #1 pick because of injuries and how he's constructed the roster. For ownership to be thinking, yep we're good, is such a frustrating money grab! Jerry Jones style. Awful!
