He is too slow on his feet. They will try to draw him out of the paint all the time.
Will never come close to the level of Jokic passing.
Good analysis of Yang's game. IF he has the confidence to take and make shots then he will GROW into the NBA game. I think his frame is frail by NBA standards so he needs to absorb contact and play good defense. Let's see what he can do ?

Hansen gets bumped the same as he bumps and he doesn't get the calls.
At the age of 20 he’s got 3 years to get things dialed in before you can really make a solid analysis of how he’ll fit in the league but his dedication and humble nature speaks volumes to edging towards he’ll figure it all out and be a good player in the grand scheme of things.

In 3 years, Yang Hansen can be the 3rd option on a championship team. Portland will get 3 extra picks in 2026 when they trade down to get Yang Hansen. Biggest steal for this yeat dtaft.
Rooting for young Hansen. I love all the centers that play that Jokic style. For this year work on not fouling out, assist output and display more of his 3pt shot, driving ability and his sweet spin move.
Yang might have better upside rim protection then the other passing bigs (jokic, sabonis, sengun). But I’m not sold on him being as good of a rebounder as jokic or sabonis.
I guess/hope he'll improve quickly. he seems like he's gonna be an interesting player to watch. and also I'm glad for chinese fans, finally they have some promising prospect playing in the best league
