The best part of that game was Scottie didnt take a single 3. That made me very happy. This tells me 1st year Scottie is back. Bully ball is back. Love it.
If the refs didn't gift the Hawks a steady trip to the stripe in the 1st quarter, the Hawks may have well thrown in the towel by halftime

I keep telling Raptors pundits and fans. In the Quickley/Barrett package for OG Anunoby trade, RJ Barrett was the most valuable player in that package. Quick was always a bench player. A streaky scorer. RJ has always been consistent. The stuff that Masai and Webster put out there about his contract being "toxic" was B.S. Masai and Webster made a mistake giving Quickley $175 million and then disrespecting RJ. Still disrespecting RJ. It's Ok. He's a worker. He'll play himself into a better contract in Toronto or somewhere else.
easy just one game against a weak team. Ingram makes Barrett and Barnes better, they are complimentary pieces.
We were up by three in the third quarter.And before I could even notice it, we were up by twenty or something in the same quarter
My take aways from the game
1. BI plays like Rudy Gay he gets buckets but does dumb shit sometimes for a vet . He over dribbles and gets the ball strip and I counted like 4 times he try to do one those jump passes in the air and got stuck to no one to pass it to .
2. BI is a double team magnet ! This opening up the game for the raptors with wide open shots and RJ going to benfit the most with the attention going to BI most the time .
3. Emmaul Quickly is hot Trash . 🗑️ He is known for a 3point specialist and been cold for the past month . Plus he doesn’t play defence. For the contract he has compared to sheed . I would start sheed if he keeps playing the same way thr next 15 games
3. Scottie Barnes this role is perfect for you . Your not in the spotlight anymore BI is getting eveyone Attention on the scouting report . Which gives you a chance to Rome around on defence and also get your hustle buckets .
4 . We are going to lead the league in fouls . Are over aggressive D and picking up full court. Let’s see how that last for . When players get fatigue and it’s game 20 . We honestly beat The hawks last night based off of hustle . We were the more prepare team . It looked like we started training camp 3 months ago .
5. Last year raptoes coach staff rank bottom 3 in the league with coaches challenges . Darko we need to improve on this . You were 0/1 last night
Need to stay healthy and keep the 12 man bench moving on the floor. ATLANTA looked tired and the Raps didn't break a sweat.
It was a solid win the Hawks were projected to be significantly better than the Raptors in preseason predictions and the Raptors literally whipped them at home. I hope it continues but overall that was an impressive win
One think I noticed about the team is who does the other team stop, Barnes?? The Raptors have RJ and Ingram coming at you and Barnes is an elite passer. Even if by some miracle you stop all three you would have to leave Quickley and Gradey open at the 3 point line and you give them open uncontested 3 pointers they are going to sink you. My only wish is they had of found a way to get under the cap
Its one game but you know I smothered this channel telling everyone to watch for the Raptors to be a top 4 team this season, you have to be a BIG DUMMEE not too! ..I was impressed by Grady Dick last night, tho he did look rusty a bit, he needs to be the #1 scorer of the bench and last night he was!
Vegas had the Raptors @+5.5, they believed ATL was the better team, I took Raps on the moneyline, what a cherry pick – keep your eye on the Raps, they will be the underdog for the next few games till Vegas catches on, they are a "freebee" pick right now. I keep saying this – Raptors will have a better season the Maple Lozers (if all stay healthy).
What a great choice for coach Darko is turning out to be, he just keeps getting better and better, I respect and admire him as a person greatly – I know how humans are today in sports, win or you're considered awful and unwatchable, sadness and disappointment reign down depressively (even when winning humans always find their way to seeing "problem" / "issue" over all the great things happening) for example: Since Darko's arrival, he has had a team in rebuild, bodies coming in and out, mega-mega injuries and all he has done is make the Raptors one of the best developing teams in sports, improving an already good development team into great – he is a communicative savant (probably because he listens more than he speaks, holds himself humbled, accountable), players all over the league speak highly of him. When Darko was hired it was quiet, he was new, raw, nobody heard of him (a lot like Nick Nurse) and soon they'll all know Darko's name, as he will see the fruits of his hard labour this season.

We have one of the deepest teams in the nba. The weakest link is battle probably who is a solid end of the bench player. I believe we can be top 4 in the east

while everybody's talking about Brandon ( Durant 2.0 ) RJ and Dick….. can't help but compliment- MAMUUUU really is one hell of a big guy, swift moves inside and awesome passes
3pt shooting still an issue man. simply we will not have a deep playoff run without it. mamukelashvili was stretching the floor though which is a great sign. ball movement looked great… this team should be good but the team that won the game last playoffs is the one who hit the most 3pters.
i did like the coaching for sure. thats the thing about this team you can run scottie and rj with bench guys or BI and IQ or really whatever. when you have a strong starting 5 like that you can make so much work. i really want to see more before getting too excited but im hopeful

This team is nice when CMB comes back it will get even better. I told you RJ should not be traded I said Ingram was an all star and was in the playoffs I apologize to Poeltl and Sheed but we gotta to be able to shoot open 3s (Quickly) we could of had 150 point game. I like the rotation but either Barnes or Ingram need to be in at all time’s unless it’s a blowout

Ingram takes pressure off everyone. They was so worried about him the others get to eat. Then that defense they are playing is how they played in the late 90s early 2000s. Then CMB will make the team even better especially defensively which is scary. I think Scottie Realized in the game vs Brooklyn that teams are loading up on BI so he’s taking advantage of that. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾Raptors are low key scary… I want to see them against OKC then I’ll have my opinion 😂
