The Houston Rockets Have A MAJOR Point Guard Problem!

The Houston Rockets Have A MAJOR Point Guard Problem according to Gilbert Arenas as Gil & The Gil’s Arena Crew react to the Houston Rockets season opening loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder as part of NBA tip-off and break down how the hole in their lineup at point guard left by the injury to Fred VanVleet is already impacting their game. They analyze what Kevin Durant, Alpren Sengun and Amen Thompson are doing to try and fill the gap and debate who the team should bring in to run the floor during their run for an NBA Championship.

The Arena premieres every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 11:30am PT / 2:30pm ET.

  1. People overreacting when the rockets lost in a double ot away game to the champs. Let’s not forget this is the first real game Durant has played with his new teammates. If rockets looked as bad as the Mavs team did then maybe we should be worried after the first game.
Why is Nick Young always asking stupid questions.

  2. Sengun's at the 3 point line because hes a 3 point threat now too. OKC is a great defensive team and Rockets still had multiple opportunities to win without a traditional poiint guard and no chemistry. Rockets bout to kick ass. If you pressure Amen full court he's goiing to by is defender. OkC tried that.

  3. wtf is Martin talking about lol “every team should pick them up full court” like Gil said OKC is built for things like that. Craxy he didn’t understand what Gil was saying. I’d kick that mf off the show

  4. Crazy how yall overhyping the 1st game against the defending champs in a double OT and a 1 pt loss😂😂😂 ALL YALL SYBAU

  5. If you think Gilbert didn’t snitch on everyone, I have some ocean front property in Idaho I can sell you. I’ll cut you a very good deal

  6. So no one notice what happened everytime they tried to play Amen with a full court press? He scored every time

Who they pressing Sheppard? He just won't bring the ball up

  7. So in a game where they were leading most of the game then forced a 2nd OT after starting OT1 not that great and only losing by 1 pt the rockets are desperate for a PG? Mind you against last seasons champs.

  8. Dang, they lost by 1 in double overtime to the defending champs who have the best defense in the league.. cmon now.. why the overreaction

  9. Markelle fultz? Bro he's only like 27.. All he needs is a team too believe in him, imagine if he clicked with this team..

  10. They should’ve signed Westbrook when van fleet got injured but if u wanna keep the big lineup u have to go get Ben Simmons to run your point

  11. Kenyon is a genius for the Ben Simmons idea, also could save the dude's career. Both parties got nothing to lose. Do it Rockets!!

  12. If Caruso keeps locking up bigs they’re won’t be anymore in 2 years. All wembys. 7 foot ball handlers. No more post or easy buckets

  13. All these former players can't see most coaches need a pass first PG to establish a half court offense. If you can't score 30 a night and run the offense like shai. You need a playmaker on the perimeter.

Goon is better near free throw line down. From there he can create for himself and others. But he isn't ready mentally to be jokic.
Durant can't run the offense he doesn't have that never did. That's why LeBron is better.
