Spurs fan here. OKC did not "play checkers." They put together a chamionship team and it paid off. No need to discount that with a game board cliché. The Spurs are on the rise. Two years ago they won the first pick and drafted Wemby. That part was luck, not chess. But they have made some very smart moves to build a supporting cast around him! This is the year they rise up!!
