    Playing Sengun at PF with Adams at centre has opened up Alp’s offensive game. Adams screen setting and rebound gravity gives Alp so much space, and he doesn’t have to worry about doing it he dirty work because Adams handles it.

    I wish people can make a video about Sengun without mentioning Joker. It seemed like you were gonna be the first and I was about to congratulate you but then you gave into the seemingly insurmountable desire that the media has to give all the credit for the good things that Sengun to Joker. So really it just becomes a Joker video in disguise "Is Sengun the next Joker" instead of "Is Sengun becoming a Superstar in his own right". Maybe one day we'll ge tone of those.

    That is true, but he has to feel the shots and shoot. He scored 5 out of 8 in OKC game , so he has to feel it and shoot , not everyday.

    He's used to doing bully ball on offense vs. two defenders, now he got help from perimeter, but you can't leave him in the paint with just one, he'll bully ball whoever is that, he bullied Chet like Chet isn't Chet.

    Brother, I’ve honestly never seen anyone analyze Alperen Şengün this well. The way you describe his growth and hunger every year is spot on. He just keeps getting better and better.

    The difference between him and Jokić is that Jokić has a God-given talent and he works hard, but his priorities are different. Maybe he could go even further or chase a championship ring on another team, but something keeps him locked where he is.

    Alperen, though, truly lives for basketball. He hates losing, and he’s constantly improving. Three years ago, he wasn’t even half the player he is now. Last season, he couldn’t really shoot threes — this year he’s around 30%. Next year it might be 40%, maybe even 45%. That’s the kind of player he is: hungry, passionate, and obsessed with getting better.

    I’ve also been following your takes since last year’s EuroLeague Final Four prediction, and I really respect how unbiased and professional you are — you genuinely value Turkish basketball.

    i m turkish and proud to see the praises that sengun is getting. but it is obvious that he is not gonna shoot 60 percent from 3s all season. if he can shoot 35 40 percent it would be great but lets wait and see a lil bit

    For the people who didn't know, his backnumber 28 is the code in Türkiye where he comes from (Giresun). The license plate numbers are all 28 there. We come from the same city and yes we are very proud of him keep it up brother!

    They told him his free throws were bad, he made them better
    They told him he is not a shooting threat, he started making threes.

    Talent brings you to a point. But his ambition and hard work to improve is the most impressive thing. That is winner mentality. Couple of Turkish generations started to watch NBA closer because of him. So proud of him.
