Onion seems to be a Cam person. That's okay, we all have our favorites. That said, George is playing very good ball and I do not see a bit of hog in him. And Khris comes across as just a genuinely humble, caring guy. I hope what he has really does rub off on these young Wizards.
And for God's sake, Coach, just get it over with and let Tre start. CJ looked cooked last night. It may be an aberration, and CJ is a pro's pro, but there's no question that the starting backcourt should be Bub and Tre. They are the future and the future really must start now.
It was a big ask to match the Bucks Superstar play for play, but it went well. Many Season Opener affects were discovered and were able to be nipped in the Bud and keeping it close enough and not letting it stay away was a good learning experience. Moving ahead, playing tougher against teams not the caliber of the Bucks is where we can actually play for the 'W'. With this in mind and digesting what was learned; "Check Ball!" 💌🏀💯🇺🇲🏀
I don't think Bub is going to be here long. Doesn't do anything particularly well. And Bilal needs to come back and be that defensive star or he can go too.
