Tyler is better at everything except defense than Mitchell. Better passer, better scoring at all 3 levels, better ball handler. This shouldn’t even be a question asked.
Bam has to be better. 4 horrible turnovers. 6 total. 2 posting up against Hart and Brunson that should’ve been easy baskets. Makes too much money to just be a good defender and average offensively. Love how the teams looking overall! Powell and Fontecchio were absolute steals. Davion is a MF dawg and Jaime took that next leap. Ware is just gonna keep getting better 🙏🏽🔥
It looks to me like the Heat are a playoff team. Not a play-in team but a 1-6 playoff team. At this point I'm not ready to say more, but we'll see.

I don't want to say they're going to win a championship right now, but I like their chances if they continue to play the way they are playing right now. Of course, the expectations are that they will continue to develop more chemistry as the season goes on. However, they will also need some good fortune when it comes to staying healthy as a team. But this Heat team can play with anybody as long as they continue to play fast and stay healthy. But defense and defensive rebounding will be the key to them being able to get out and run. If they are able to do those things, this team will be right there contending for a championship in June.

Hi all, a couple of comments.. Weird Spo's rotation, I am all about mixing the starters against different opponents, but why play Nico against ORL with 3 6'11"s, and then play Ware against Knicks without real C. It is not an accident that second unit wins games. Second, you said JJJ was great initiating offence, he was horrible.. JJJ is an advantage creator, so each time he starts the play and calls his name to try to make an advantage that is slowing the offence. He had a great game yesterday, but should first pass and then trust in your teammates that the ball will come back to you to create.just check how manu dribbles Fontecchio makes when he gets the ball up, and how many JJJ makes – that is the difference between playing with speed and playing by just getting to the basket whenever you can(one is sustainable in the playoffs, the other is not).
All that being said, these are all of the things that can be corrected during the season, and that Heat can be a solid Playoff team. Can't wait to see the progress!

Tyler Herro plays better off ball you guys seem to forget he adjusted his game last season and was balling off ball till Jimmy quit I see this team flourishing even more when he comes back

Having a starting unit that plays defense and having to take the point of attack defender out to put Herro in will be tough. For all he does on offense, Tyler does not play defense. If he struggles offensively, it will be a double whammy just like Duncan.
I get its a heat podcast, so you gotta be a little homerish, but the Bam glaze… Bam is a great defender but his offensive game is so one dimensional. He has almost no touch down low and turns the ball over so easily. Inefficient as per usual. I love Bam as a culture guy, but him pulling in 50 million starting next year is going to severely limit this teams ceiling.
Too early to be called a contender because other teams are still also trying to gel. Let's check again in 2 months when we see if the shooting stays hot.
