Minor correction, the Hawks traded for Porzingis, they didn’t sign him.
It amazing how a lot of media types are switching up…lol
Prefer your personal views on this raptors podcast.Excellent format as usual. Iook forward to future analyses.
Downtown Toronto is going to be insane Friday Night
Mamuuuuuuuu!!! Weird that CMB and Walter didn't play though
Great episode! Enjoy your enthusiasm 🎉
Finally, something positive about the hometown kid, RJ Barrett.
I love DARKOBALL
Raptors are underrated. RJ is underrated.
Raptors are just learning how they work as a team. The Smedia dictate how the players should play but the player are learning to forget all that and go out their use their skills to win
16:00 – this is also the 4th time NAW had a season opener vs the Raptors.
looks like a much better team, perhaps add 1 more legit centre that can rebound and stretch floor
RJ has looked fantastic the whole pre season. I think BI playing makes things easier for RJ and everyone else too. RJ could be an all star this year
Dec 8 you will have 25 games in and about the same number of home and road games. Various levels of competition should give us a real look into the capabilities assuming we are healthy and close to most teams for health. Last year we had more games out than most NBA teams.
Love this analysis
Without injuries last year, Raps were a 500 team…easily. That's the bare minimum for this season.
Great start! Hawks were a team everyone had ahead of the Raptors, so this is a good win. This team will only get better game after game. I’m excited by what we’ve seen so far. I hope CMB gets on the court soon. Teams won’t like playing us even if we lose.
16:02 I look at shooting, and for the Raptors against those Hawks, it was a mixed bag, with quite a bit of success from two-point range, but not as much from three-point range. There may be games the Raptors play, before the 2026 play-in tournament, that are won or lost on three-point shooting, with shooting under 30% on that aspect potentially a problem for the Raptors should such poor execution continue to too many games beyond the regular-season opener.
Imagine thinking the raptors are good after 1 lucky game.. this is one of the worst teams based on fit(bad spacing and tons of negative defenders) in the league. We might pick high without even trying to tank 😂
