GSG! 🎉 Impressive save by Harper after a terrible 3Q but this is what Winners do! Thank all of the Team, Harper's offense and Wembys Defense! Let's Go!!🎉🎉
I didn't think Keldon had a place on this team once everyone was healthy but he's finally bought in to his role rather than trying to force everything. Super impressed with him thru three games.
Mitch has to check Wemby before he returns to his old habits of taking too many 3's.
These past 2 games prove why we need Fox to be legit; Castle is a hit-or-miss player and Fox gives us stability and consistency.
Harper has impressed with situational awareness and court vision; he changes the rhythm of the game whenever he checks in.
KJ and DEV are both steady and a breath of fresh air.
DJG needs some opportunities, he's a scorer and will have more of an impact than Castle.
Team needs work on how to adjust to when Wemby gets double teamed and passing and moving off that. Because its a new normal every team will do that the Spurs did not prepare for in preseason. I also love the Zone use cause we have such a switchable team, defense principals have been on point with this squad. Mitch now leads all coaches in COTY odds so pretty amazing rookies season so far
Keep going Coach i like the rotations, i think Carter probably should be in their to make other teams players to speed up i think hes the quickest on our team with foot speed
Castle is a winning player, but with his lack of shooting, his ceiling may be as a high-end roll player. Whereas Harper has the look of a star lead guard.
Keldon has been impressive!
Vic, Steph and Dylan have been amazing, but it’s important we show love to Devin, Keldon and Luke for their role. They’ve been huge for us! I love the way this team is constructed! Go Spurs!!! 🖤🤍🖤🤍🏀
Spurs looking very tough, Fox and Sochan returning are going to elevate both sides of the ball.
I want Wemby to get more OREB, and Castle to reduce his TOV.
Start Dylan and Castle wit Vassel and wemby
DFox is still not playing hahaha…spurs is going to be hard to play when everyone is playing ..whew
I hated when we switch to mitch but kinda buying in to him coaching the spurs no hate to pop but im ride with mitch this season
Only thing im hate is when fox and sochan come back other players minutes gona go down when they need playing time but im for fox coming back
KJ making his case for M.I.P!!!
Mitch is coaching this season. Pulling out Castle when he senses he is trying to do too much, and bring in Harper who is doing a great job with pacing and running the offense, is a Pop like style. Hold them accountable!
In the future, the ball will be handed over to Harper, and Castle is more suitable to play as a forward-guard swingman.
I swear one of those questions sounded like it came from Timmy. 3:30
Any update on Luke Kornet? Will he play tomorrow? Bec I think we will need him against the Raptors.
Giving up the advantages in manpower will catch us sooner, very bad practice imo…
This team is gonna be tough to beat if Keldon plays like this every game. He is buying in with his role , he and dylan averaging atleast 15ppg off the bench they are gonna be tough to beat come playoff time. KJ is playing great defense, shooting 3s very well and getting those hard crucial rebounds. He and Dylan is gonna be the X-factors here going forward because KJ brings different type of dimension to this Spurs system, he is a guy like if you are small, he is too big and too strong, if you are big , he is too fast.
I thought the way our guards rotated during stretches was one of the best things Mitch did. Many said that the Spurs was too loaded on the guard position, but the balanced attack on offense, and the sync on defense is proving that the rotations were working. When Fox and Sochan comes in, Im not expecting things to fall in place immediately, maybe a game to three for adjustments for some leeway. But eventually, these guys will figure out. Go Spurs Go Por Vida!
A lot of people were against Mitch becoming head coach but glad he’s proving the doubters wrong!
Thank you for mic’ing the questions!!
