I think Lauris biggest strenghts is his off ball play, sure he can catch and shoot, but he can also dunk.
If he would be the constant bringing the ball up and ISO he would not be able to do that so efficiently.
Yeah for his whole career he has kinda needed the PG, didnt get that in Bulls (Lavine was a ball hog). He did get Conley here, but was traded.
IMO Ace Bailey fits this pretty well because he is kind of similar to Lauri. He can put the ball to the floor do some off ball stuff. They kinda get double threat or at best 1 such guy on the floor all the time.
I think Ace potentially has a better mid range and game making while Lauri does have the good 3 point (when it works..)
9:45 like most centers or 7 footers. For as special as he is at that size, we can't expect him to be a point guard as well.
I'm with you though, we have to add Peterson, boozer or AJ to this team in that order 🤞🏻 but I guess we're really just gonna play this thing out and let it fall where it lands I guess 🤬

I don't really understand why Ace isn't playing. He looked great into preseason… and now what? We're giving him 13 minutes off the bench so Svi can get 36 minutes. I don't understand what we're doing this season either. We're now 2-1 with 3 megastars in the draft and we're going to pull another Taylor Hendricks/Cody Williams draft season? (Which we'd lose to the Thunder past 8th)
… what if key is him? i don’t mind ace being brought along slowly. playing in the nba is hard and ace is extremely 19. he’ll get his legs. let svi cook!! he hasn’t been bad!

Also important is "knowing who you're not"…and never will be.
