Yes YES YES, there is really very little that can be gained for Thomas this year.
Nothing he has done so far has changed or challenged the notion that he is simply high usage scorer that does offer much else defensively. Him scoring 40 on 35 percent usage doesn’t tell anyone anything they didn’t already know about Thomas which is that he can score buckets.

Why u so obsessed with usage rate? Are you ok?how can he have a low usage rate when he takes 30 shots including free throws?he used the usage rate on scoring what wrong with that when he has garbage teammates that can hit shots can’t drive can’t do anything? You want him to have high assists? Give him good teammates and tell nets to not draft 4 guards next time attempting to take ball out of his hand . Isn’t he a shooting guard? Often times he doesn’t touch the ball for 3 min how can he have consistent assist number? He’s always standing in the Corner and gets the ball with 8 second on the shot clock and you expect him to make plays like that?

best point of the podcast: this isn’t beneficial to Cam getting better. I think we as fans want Cam to develop into this unstoppable scorer that is a lifelong Net, but the Nets clearly think differently.

Cam Thomas was pretty banged up- to have played with stitches and all that- it realistically doesn’t make much sense at all. Let’s face it, Lebron James wouldn’t be allowed to play by his coaches under the same circumstances. I know CT is a true warrior, but he got nothing to prove; especially to this Organization.
The naysayers are just waiting for him to underperform in order to rip him to pieces.
Now, the Nets had a very good player in Drew Timme- that would help this team TREMENDOUSLY and they let him go- for what?!! For some rookies that might never had the capabilities to make it in the NBA in the first place?
Also, Danny Wolf is a player that I would insert in this team as the starting Power Forward. This guy has so much skills for a 7 footer- that’s not even funny. Who’s running this team show is doing a really bad job, and I don’t think is the coaches fault. The power that be want to make a statement that that ALL of their Draft Picks were no mistakes, and they will milk this to the cows come home.
Really weird to say he doesn't impact winning when the team is literally designed to lose and you had the owner basically saying we want to lose this year. No other player on this team is going to get criticized for not impacting winning, why aren't we calling Ben Saraf and Egor Demin empty stats players too?
1st time I REALLY miss the previous hosts. Had to sit here and listen to all the cam slander by the same guy who tried to convince viewers that Ben Saraf is really good.
The Nets are a horribly run organization. And it stinks from the top down. An owner who doesn’t know enough about basketball to see the GM has fumbled and bumbled along for a long time and needs to go.
Player development has been abysmal but we blame the player for not progressing their game.

Cam Thomas is a good scorer but inconsistency, some games he could get 40 pts but the team losing and most of times he could make 1x pts only. what he plays is not able to help other teammates getting better and his defense is terrible. Cam Thomas is not and will not be a core of the Nets future.
