Bronny James WORST Performance Yet – Even JJ Redick Can’t Defend This

Bronny James WORST Performance Yet – Even JJ Redick Can’t Defend This

Bronny James had one of his roughest outings yet in the Lakers’ game against the Portland Trail Blazers, and even head coach JJ Redick couldn’t hide his frustration. With LeBron James and Anthony Davis sidelined, this was supposed to be an opportunity for the rookie to showcase his development—instead, we saw defensive lapses, offensive struggles, and concerning basketball IQ issues.

🎥 WHAT HAPPENED:
– Failed to contest Jerami Grant’s easy dunk (moved out of the way)
– Mid-range jumper blocked with poor shot selection
– Airballed a wide-open three-pointer
– Terrible pass leading to Lakers turnover
– Second-to-last player back in transition defense after his own mistake
– JJ Redick post-game: “It’s hard to run offense without ball handlers”

⚠️ THE BIG QUESTION:
Is Bronny James NBA-ready, or is nepotism the only reason he’s getting rotation minutes? The stats don’t lie, and even his own coaching staff is struggling to justify his playing time.

This isn’t hate—this is honest analysis. Every NBA player deserves fair evaluation, regardless of their last name. The Lakers are in a competitive Western Conference, and roster spots matter.

💭 What do YOU think? Is Bronny being set up to fail by playing too soon, or does he genuinely belong in the NBA right now? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Is nepotism the only reason Bronny is on the lakers or? answer is a big hell yeah and asking the question is an excuse to the intelligence of anyone over an IQ of 40.

  2. He needs to stay in the g leauge he is 1000000% draft and stash, he should be back in the nba fully till he’s 25-26. He needs to be dominating the g leauge before he can come back. If he’s not better than Mac mclung then he has 0 business in the nba

  3. Yes…NEPOTISM is the ONLY reason why he is even in the league. And look, it sounds horrible to say it, but let's be honest, he's not even good enough to be in the G League. Im not hating, its just a fact. There are many, many other NBA hopefuls that are better than Bronny but are not on a team.

  4. I can't wait to Lebron James to retired also you can leave with your dad we don't need you in the NBA especially in the Lakers you don't earn the spot in the roster all this because your father.

  5. See how many years of consistency in the G league it took Mac Maclung to get a spot in the big boy league and Mac is a trillion times better than Bricky Jr

  6. This is one of 50 reasons the league has gone shit .

The biggest reason was Kobe Bryant's retirement…

Fans stepped out .. and it was a fast downfall on the Raitings by 50%

  7. I know you have a rep to uphold but it's not a question of "if" it's nepotism you know and we the unbiased know what it is

  8. Breh Gianni’s brothers are ass nembhard brother ass it’s a lot of brothers in the league not good at all yall hate on bronny so much it’s sad

  9. Are we seriously still asking this? The only reason this kid is in the league is because of his dad, he’s meant for the g league. End of story

  10. derek fisher 4rth year shot 34% 1,8 rebs 2,8 asts 1 stl a game playing 21 minutes. Bronny 11 mins 0 pts 1.5 rebs 1.5 asts. In the portland game Bronny played 20 mins shot twice 0-2. 3 rebs 3 asts 1 stl 1 blk. scored 5 & 7 pts vs the Warriors. and 7 against the Suns. Kobe scored 2, 5, 3 pts his first 3 games as a Laker.

  11. Derek Fisher's first 6 games he shot 30% 4pts game. I think he is over criticized for being LeBrons child

  12. I recall SAS defending this blatant nepotism in FirstTake — that any father would grab the chance to do the same.

In a corporate world, yeah, that works coz it's mostly private. But not in Sports and Entertainment industry as people gets to see how you actually perform!

  13. Might is crazy 😂 he’s a 8 million dollar paper weight. At least be good on defense or getting assists or something for gods sake.
