We went from dominating the Bucks for 2 seasons to losing.. smh
We aren't playing hungry like we were under Thibs. We're playing like " Hey we're the Knicks you heard we're going to the finals this year? " I know we got a couple injuries too but the way we're playing is not up to the standard the team has created the last couple years.
Heat and Bucks games were a reality check for everyone from the players to the fans. Better to have it early in the season than in the playoffs
I just don’t understand why the knicks don’t run pick and pop with Brunson and Kat. Kat is a good shooting big so why not set a pick for Brunson and pop those mid range shots. We don’t need threes from Kat all the time, shoot mid range and get in the post!!!
Keep telling yourselves the knicks are the team to beat in the east. This team is 5-6 seed at best. Can't have 3 guys playing 30 plus minutes and only putting up single digit points. And no, mitch wouldn't had made a difference.
This is exactly why I wanted Durant in off season. Knicks need a bonafide #2 option to contend for a title, KAT is way too inconsistent. OG has 1 good offensive game out of 4. And I’m not a Bridges fan, but this was his best game as a Knick in terms of aggressiveness. And Deuce is vital to this team. Also just like last year, Brunson is the ONLY Knick that brings it every night from a production AND effort standpoint.
The current Robinson-less Knicks have the exact same problem as last year's Knicks.
They are too small.
I was not happy that the Knicks were loading up on guards in the offseason and neglecting getting a good big man in there. With Robinson's injury history it was only common sense to do so. And it really hasn't helped that the only big they did sign Yabusele, a talented player, has turned out to be an out of shape disaster.
Kat gotta stop thinking basketball is entertainment and play like it’s his livelihood and now we acting like people were saying don’t get Greek
🫡 Salute! Chat wolves 🩸🐺 hungry tonight! New coach + new system= games like tonight. I thought coach Mike Brown had this “Minutes management X body maintenance” thing solved like y= mx + b? Shout out to the chat calling Brown, David Fizdale or “Fizdale.” 😂 Brown does have a similar, “I know more than you” attitude. And to an extent he does. This is NOT a roster suited to his strengths. He’s learning very quickly how much this team depends on Brunson. There’s a reason why Minnesota gave up the Panama 🇵🇦 Canal & Guam 🇬🇺 for Rudy Gobert to play alongside KAT. He’s a physical specimen with loads of athletic talent but the NBA IQ doesn’t translate this system. Shout out to Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 who got to see the true starting five play in a meaningless game before Knick fans in the USA 🇺🇸

Im telling you rn, ik kat is dealing with the quad injury, (sit out!!!!), but if he’s gonna continue where he left off last year by clearly ego shot chucking, sloppy plays, low IQ, no effort, stupid fouls etc. then we’re gonna start having some SERIOUS convos about Kat’s future on this team
Let’s talk the truth. I’m 55 and I’m in the minority of people who don’t hold Brunson up like a Knick god. What I see and have seen in the past is that every time Brunson plays hero ball and doesn’t look to pass they rip him of the ball and he throws himself on the floor and acts hurt, bs! That’s my eyesight
Even under Tihbs, for the past 5 years, every time the Knicks lost a game,you guys wanted to trade almost the whole team. Especially Randle and Thibs. And last year you guys dog the Knicks and hated Mikal Bridges. I wonder who the fall guy is gonna be this year? It already looked like it's Kat. I can't understand why you guys call him the Big Bodega one day then garbage when the Knicks lose.
Knicks defense was awful
KAT always disappears in the big moment. Then says he has to do better. He is the highest paid Knick and always disappears. He defers to Brunson. This is why I wouldn't mind him being traded. He plays one speed SLOW. Does not run the floor, is not aggressive. Looks lost. Does not play defense. He's a soft bum!

2nd qtr we played some of the best offense every play a concerted effort was made on every possession to get feet in the paint
