Best case scenario imo. Wiz play well but lose. Player development looking good. Alex is gonna be an all star one day. The fans will return when the team is good. And we'll need that top 8 pick next year to do that.
The Wizards played great team ball passing to the open man and it created a sizable lead, but when CJ McCollum and Kris Middleton started their lame 1 on 1 takeover. That killed the Wizards flow and momentum trade both of them.😢

McCollum and Middletown can't have games like tonight if this team is going to be successful. The young players especially Sarr showed the growth of the team.
Tonight was not an exhibition game.You play the game to WIN, period. Week one and you're tanking already? That is total BS. What good is another top 8 pick going to do you when you let Tre' waste away on the bench when the 'team' needed him the most. There's no development there. Disheartening? Yes. CJ McCollum is by far the worst impact on the team. He legit just shot an off the dribble three pointer after bringing the ball, without any passes in the entire possession. The next possession he got blocked by a drive to the paint…
Alex Sarr played well except at the end of the 4th quarter. He and his court mates followed the Coach’s instructions completely: just run around like headless 🐓 chickens and lose one for the team’s draft position! Or it’s wind sprints for all!
