Kornet played the same way in Boston and they all loved him, but they couldn't afford the luxury tax of keeping him. He's no secret to those who have seen him play. He's one of the best backup centers in the NBA, and players and coaches already know him.
The signing of Kornet and Olynyk really give us serious depth at PF and Center position that is really going to help us win games this season.
The spurs don't have winnable games. Dude, the spurs miss the playoffs the last six years. Hell, the other teams are saying the spurs could be a winnable game

Bench Wemby! If anything, this shows how flawed the +/- stat is.
Our rotation of big men is light years better than last year. They allow Wemby to rest and still contribute. Kornet will be unlocked in San Antonio. This is the year they learn to win games at the end and stop beating themselves
I remember being absolutely thrilled at Luke's signing but some fans were just looking for the negative saying he was a few million/year overpaid. Luke was the PERFECT pickup for this team, just fills so many major holes in the roster this team had at once. Just seeing how much Celt's fans love him told me everything I needed to know about the guy. It's like with the Spurs trading Derrick White, all the Spurs fans were telling the Celts how awesome he is and how much they will enjoy him.
Kornet is a huge asset! Rest Wemby and let Luke loose!
