The Orlando Magic’s shooting woes returned once again in a 110-98 loss to the Chicago Bulls. It is once again the defining issue as they made only three of 24 attempts in the game, following a poor second half in Friday’s game.
If the Magic are going to run and play at the pace, if they are going to compete in the East, they need to make shots. Without shooting, there is no chance this thing will work.
Right now, the Magic are struggling to come together and part of that is they are still mixing and matching lineups and finding the right rotation. Finding consistency will help them reach their full potential.

I said this before and I say it again, this Orlando magic team is literally the same team from last year that couldn’t shoot 3s. All they added was one player that’s considered a good shooter lol, everybody else is literally the same team from last year that kept missing 3s all season, idk why y’all surprise lol. All this hype for this season just cause they added one main shooter… one shooter cannot save this team😂

We ruin our squad when we get rid of Markelle Fultz. 22-23 season was our best basketball to watch. We are done..kentavious Caldwell Pope, now Tyus Jones or Desmond Bane while we had Markelle Fultz???..Fultz 100 times better then everyone. Suggs, Franz, Paolo overpaid..good luck Philip fo the season, we were supposed to win it all??..not even play off. Bring back Markelle

if you want to keep the defensive intensity and run fast-pace offence, you have to play an big rotation. (Team Germany did the same in the summer). I could see Franz Wagner can`t run back sometimes..

Ive said it multiple times. The crucial piece to this team will always be Suggs. He brings the intensity and the defense. Among other things that dont show up on the stat board.
Also can we talk J.I. why is he not out there? Don't we need stops? Defense? Might be a liability in offense, but how much harm can he do. When our offense is stalling already. We need the defensive identity back!
The most memorable moment watching the game live at Kia Center last night was a couple getting engaged to be married. Lol! The hype/fever is completely gone. 9 and 10th seeth..here come the Magic!
Is it me or am I tripping cause it looks like Paolo size is getting to him he can’t get to the cup like he used to specially compared to his Rookie season. I know people says he’s 250 but he at least 275. He’s not explosive at all. he left a lot of points out on the court tonight
Orlando is trying to change their identity for no reason. We are NOT a “run n gun” offense. Getting Bane doesn’t change us from THE slowest pace in the NBA to a fast break team. That’s not our game. We have a half court, old school offense. I love Mos, but this horrible start is 100% on him (or whoever’s idea it was to change who our team is)

It is frustrating why people who should know basketball do not point out the obvious; our shooting woes come from poor offensive sets and schemes. Please watch a Magic game and tell me what % of shots are taken within the rhythm of an offense and how many shots are taken by players either figuring things out or trying to bail us out of a poor possession. Just look at Franz' points . Most of them are made by the mere fact that Franz is an uber-talented player than can get his own shot. NOTHING comes easy for this team offensively and that's very much on coaching. I like Coach Mos but he's looked like he's out of his depth the moment the team began ascending beyond being a lottery team.
I played basketball my whole life and traveled playing the sport. It is not 3 point shooting!!!!!!! It is defense!!!!! Getting stops!!!! And getting points of those stops!
It’s not shooting! All that is mitigated by defense and points off turnovers that’s where the focus should be
And not run and gun but transition basketball is part of they style so they need outlet pass more slow down and run the offense when it’s not there the outlet and run they just playing mentally sound basketball

If Hero would have played for Miami we would be 0 – 3. I wasn’t buying the Bane hype but I was hopeful. I’ve said it before. If you swap out one guy it needs to be the coach.
The new style of play where Orlando is running the floor at a quicker pace is in question here. Is this new offense having an impact on the Magic's offense and defense. Could the team be struggling a little as a result of the faster play and the new offense zapping the energy of the players to effectively play defense the way they played last year. I don't know but they better develop the stamina to play at this pace or go back to the way they were playing last year where they let their defense win games and let the offence fall in its place. We did not need to change the way we played we just needed to add some shooting.
Ill-advised 3s, not hitting free throws, turn overs and not dominanting paint. Also coach not challenging calls, no plan for rotation and doesn't no how to rally his troops.
So glad i didnt buy season tickets or a new jerseys. Ill be going to bed on time now too. Not staying uo to watch garbage basketball.
