  1. Mose seems like a great man; his connection with the team is admirable and appreciated – however camaraderie doesn't always win games.

The head-scratching lineups, roster misuse, lack of playmaking, & abandonment of defensive identity is absolutely inexcusable. Remember when teams struggled to score 100 points against Orlando? Great times.

  2. Mike Malone has a reputation for being an excellent Xs-and-Os coach, especially on the defensive end. His teams (like the Nuggets) are known for disciplined rotations, smart adjustments, and getting the most out of their roster. He’s also good at in-game management, including timeouts and lineup changes

  3. •The 2025 Finals bound Pacers started 10-15.
•Mavs started the 2007 season 1-4 and finished with 67 wins.

It’s very early & very possible to turn this season around – but that’s not happening if this current style of play & coaching continues.

  4. The game suppose to flow when u constantly guessing wt u pose to b doing anyone will struggle Steph Curry would struggle in this offense last yr they played slow with no direction now they playing fast with no direction

  5. this ball licking coward Osborne attempting to omit Banchero from responsibility for this disastrous start.

If you are the leader you hold responsibility whether it's fair or not.

Team follows the motivation of the player leaders .

The insider access must be intoxicating.

  6. The name of the team is the Magic that doesn’t mean things happen by magic. Their “star” gave up on this coach last year.

  7. Sure fire Mose. But I would like to say the problem is Poalo. Point blank. He’s own leader but doesn’t carry himself like a leader. His level of effort blows my mind. He doesn’t box out his man often. His close outs on shooter is piss poor. I don’t think I’ve seen him set a good screen that actually makes the defense make a decision. Bane setting him a screen just for the mismatch. Cool. What does he do with the mismatch. Pump fake, slow dribbles, get to the paint and foul hunt and hope for an and-1. Doesn’t make him free throws at a consistent basis, and when he doesn’t get fouled. Immediately barking at the ref putting our defense at a disadvantage. He doesn’t play off ball or shoot the open 3. If you miss you miss. Fuck it. But to offense can’t stop EVERY SINGLE TIME you touch the ball. It’s so frustrating to watch. Max players need to play like it. Stat line doesn’t tell the story.

  8. JI needs more time and we need jalen in there more he’s our spark man , tds is playing good but no one else really is off the bench

  9. Think you guys meant DEFCON 1. 5 is the lowest level of alert.

The closest previous Magic precedent for this is Doc Rivers 2003.

  10. Coach Mosley sounded like a guy who knows his job is on the line. He mentioned it started at the top and that he needed to be better

  11. I’m more than a little concerned that a big part of what needs to improve is our interior defense and rim resistance considering WCJ has shown none of that while 100% healthy, and we haven’t even gotten to the inevitable injury part of the season. That we’ve come this far with him and Jonathan Isaac, who legitimately is just not good at basketball, might be our fatal flaw. That and wasted draft picks as always

  12. You can’t just say here’s a shitty offensive “system”, now do it faster. I think that’s P5’s point. Yes we’re scoring a little more out of volume of possessions but obviously that means nothing, it’s fools gold

  13. If we weren't gonna play JI we should have gotten something for him in the offseason….we cant hit free throws to save our life, Franz is standing in the corner not moving or doing anything for entire halves of games. Tyus Jones might be the worst guard in the NBA and Jamahl’s rotation are trash. Even Evan Fournier wouldn’t get punked out like this….. GO MAGIC! Kingdom in Decline smh 😒

  14. Weltman does not get a pass! Period! By adding Bane and Jones does not fix the entire offense! I been saying this before the season started. Fire Weltman!!

  15. You got two guys that are your best players and they are not playing great but they make great player money. Bane too, he makes great player money but is not playing great, this team needs those three guys to play great and to be great and they are not, it's why they're 1-4

  16. Unfortunately Mose will be the scapegoat if they don’t buy back in, but he’s not the one out there on the court. Playin perimeter defense like prime Dwight Howard is back there to save them. We need to remember the culture Mose brought here, and the players need to start embodying that again.

  17. Unfortunately the "inferior" teams are only inferior in or head, and based on past preconceptions.

Now when a new season starts EVRYBODY is 0 regardless of the rosters and what we believe to be a good team.

I say this to say its been 5 games, its bad to be on a skid so early but there's 77 games left.

We can still win 70 games.

  18. I sat right behind their bench during the Atlanta game, I can tell you my buddy and I were baffled and how little was being said during timeouts. Every now and again someone might say something, but largely coaches and players would just sit there for the first 75% of the timeout and then Mose would address the team with a play. It was odd, and maybe that’s how it goes in the NBA, admittedly never sat behind a bench like that before, but it was odd given how that game went.

  19. I just dont understand what happened KCP isn’t a slouch on defense but he definitely ain’t in Banes tier so im so lost how we move a 3&D player for a 3 level 2 way player (2 ways meaning defense and offense not a contract) and our identity implodes? Also I think the FO clearly undervalued Cole Anthony and Mo Wagner’s impact off the bench. We wasted the 11th pick on jett I’m glad they won’t pick up his option and finally admitted that shit was a nepo pick (which sucks looking at lively and the others being picked after Jett) and Paolo seems to forget he’s 6’10 260 at times like he woke up possessed by demar derozan

  20. I still believe Markelle Fultz was so important to this team. He was great handling the ball, poised and no turnovers great teammate. He was smart, full of joy and love for our team and the city.

Mosley believed Paolo. Franz, Jalen Suggs and Black Anthony could replace the leadership of Markelle Fultz. They made an horrible mistake. Horrible mistake. I watch all games live but since Fultz was traded I never support as before fot 30 years. Mosley has to go or bring back Fultz. Weltman sign great expensive super extension contracts.

Season is over unless they change the coach.

  21. I believe mose has earned the benefit of the doubt, and I’m sticking by his side at least for this season. No one wants the magic to be great more than the players and coaches….lets try to be a little more patient guys. The Orlando magic will figure this out soon.
