Aging players, rotations, playing folks out of position, & small ball are concerns.
Warriors won’t win until there is a mentality shift among the core and coach. The shift is JK is a second option offensively and their equal in terms of importance to winning. The way Jimmy came in and immediately was given respect, leadership the role and certain freedoms. JK needs to be given freedom to go step on the gas if he has it going all while playing the right way. I don’t think JK feels that so he defers and lets up offensively. He’s playing to not step on toes. Warriors have to let him loose offensively.
The cohost is really good. I’m actually gonna agree with everyone. This segment was really good. I’m definitely going to tune in more to the show.
Jimmy always struggles against guys who can actually defend
Digging Chuck’s drip. 🔥
3 games in four nights, and then another back to back soon after that? Thanks, nba—not!!! Come on. Hey, 72 game season would help with all that. Not all that much to ask.
No more easy winning !!
If you coming to Portland..Come heavy or dont come at all ..
Blazers nation!
Kerr needs to be investigated by the FBI for putting Jimmy at the 5
KOLSKY!!
Steve Kerr has applied the coaching lessons he learned from Phil and Pop. If JK cant handle the process that worked for all those GOAT teams 😤 then its on him. Glad hes playing hard n correct now, dozens of guys got the lesson fast and had great careers with this style of coaching bc it works👌
Ironically, JK and Lamb played a majority of there minutes on the court TOGETHER
Hey guys! Regarding Podz as an NBA player. The glaring weakness for Podz is a horrible first step and ZERO ability to finish in straight-line drives. Try and remember ANY time he took someone off the dribble and layed it up. Never does it. EVERY time he gets by the defender, he stops short of the rim and plays like a forward – back to the basket. PLEASE discuss this next time when considering Podz potential. If a combo guard can NOT finish at the rim and is unreliable from three…..how can anyone see him as a future starter for the Warriors.
Portland is picking from where they left off last year.
Warriors are trying to integrate this new rookie Kuminga into the team
kerr decider to play butler as a five😫
What needs to be done is the Warriors should remove all of Steve Kerr’s toys from the roster. The roster has too many guards. The way the roster is currently structured, there is no room for Podz, GP2, Pat Spencer, or anyone who is undersized and can’t score consistently in the 40 percent range.
totally disagree with kolkata re Kerr. Somehow he forgets that Kuminga got 46 starts in ‘23-24. Jk was just not good last year – he took a massive step back, instead of progressing, maybe cuz he wanted a big contract.
dude, steph and dray play point. Jk does not, so all else equal, jk should have fewer tos than curry and dray. but they all had too many against blazers.
The Warriors best 5 according to players, coaches, and management is: Steph, JK, Jimmy, Draymond, and AL. Everyone except Steve Kerr knows this is the best lineup.
Did you know that in the Denver game, Podz played more minutes than Steph? This was inspite of his lack of defense, and scoring. As with JK, this is all evidence that Steve Kerr makes his coaching decisions with his heart.
It is Steve Kerr who has destroyed Podz. But unfortunately, the Warriors have moved on because the league has moved on. Today’s NBA need
bigs who can play positionless basketball. The guards must be like Steph, but not be a defensive liability. Think about this: Steph, Draymond, and Jimmy, all can play out of position. But they are all undersized in today’s NBA. This is why Podz does not fit, and this is why teams like Portland will give them fits while causing high turnovers. Until now, Coach Kerr’s solution is to go even smaller. That does not work in today’s NBA.
The solution? Go with Steph, Jimmy, Draymond, AL, and JK. Let them as an offense take advantage of matchups, while on defense, they can handle any matchup sent their way.
Secondly, the substitution problem becomes less complicated. You just make substitutions based on the game time situations of your starters and giving rest when needed. Post, Santos, and TJD can be substitutions on the back line, aMelton, Seth, Will Richard, and others are substitutions on the front court as needed.
Coach Kerr will be put to the task if he listens to the coaches and players even when it goes against his heart.
THANK YOU KOLSKY RE: JK
how’d i not find this pod sooner i dont know
When’s the parade 🎉
