Ja Morant delivered in the clutch for Memphis, sinking a go-ahead jumper from just in front of the rim with 7.3 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter to give the Grizzlies a 114–113 lead. On the ensuing possession, Devin Booker’s three-point attempt from the top of the arc missed as time expired, allowing Memphis to hold on for the narrow victory.

Morant led the Grizzlies with 28 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists, while Jaren Jackson Jr. added 18 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals. Cedric Coward chipped in 14 points to round out the scoring for Memphis, who improved to 3–2 on the season.

Phoenix was paced by Booker’s 32 points, including four made threes, along with 4 rebounds. Mark Williams posted a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds, and Royce O’Neale contributed 18 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists, and knocked down six three-pointers. Despite the strong effort, the Suns dropped to 1–4.

    His game has matured a lot. Set 3pt jumpers hop step floaters his body will maintain with this smart play in the half court and better pace
