Victor Wembanyama DOES IT ALL vs Heat! | October 30, 2025

The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Miami Heat 107–101 to remain undefeated at 5–0, marking the best start in franchise history and their first five-game winning streak since March 2019.
Victor Wembanyama led the Spurs with 27 points, 18 rebounds, 6 assists, and 5 blocks, while Stephon Castle added 21 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists, and 4 steals. Bam Adebayo paced the Heat with 31 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 threes, and Andrew Wiggins contributed 24 points and 6 rebounds.

With his first block of the night, Wembanyama extended his streak to 90 consecutive games with a block, passing Patrick Ewing (88) for the fourth-longest streak in NBA history. He joins an elite group that includes Patrick Ewing (145), Dikembe Mutombo (116), and Mark Eaton (94)—all top-10 all-time in career blocks.

Wembanyama also became just the third Spur ever to open a season with five straight double-doubles, joining Tim Duncan and David Robinson. Through five games, he’s totaled 151 points, 73 rebounds, and 24 blocks—making him the first player since Bob McAdoo in 1975–76 to record at least 150 points, 70 rebounds, and 20 blocks in his team’s first five games.

  3. Lovin this team. Its been a while since manu duncan and tony parker played together. Spurs got wemby and team that will dominate for atleast the next decade if he stays healthy.

  4. Love everything about victor, except for the travelling. Unfortunately, he is smart enough to take advantage of the fact that the league has obviously given up on the notion of a pivot foot.

  5. If OLD MAN Tim Duncan help train Victor on perfecting that Backboard shot in the paint…. game over for everyone

  6. Honestly Wembanyama is my fav player in the league atm but c'mon regular season just started and celebrating just cus of 5 straight wins…. What's next? Pelicans is gonna celebrate for winning 2 straight games in a row next season? Lmao!
