I am watching this at 480p. This means the frame rate is 480/60 = 8 frames/second which is typical of South Park epsiode. The highest available to me is 720 which would mean 720/60 which is about 12 frames/second which is typical of a Disney Animation in the early 2000s.
The typical professional camera these days samples at about 40-60 frames per second maximum but for storage purposes, camera men typically only do about 20 or so to cut down on storage cost and 20 frame per second is about the limit of human perception anyway. Our brain simply can't detect much difference for any thing more than that. Of course if you are filming like a humming bird, then you need that 60 frame per second to capture all that flapping wings when you slow down the video.
The reason I bring this up is because when the play back frame rate is at 8 but say the video was film at much, much higher frame rate say 40, then what these video player apps do is to only select the frames it needs randomly. So within those 40 frames, I would get 1,6,11,16,21,26,31,36th frames. Now normally, you would imagine it would be the same as if I have gotten that video from a 8 frame per second camera. But the reality is that's not how our brain works. Our brain doesn't operate in linear time, you see. Since our brain can't process beyond 20 frame per second, if we are presented with something faster and just use a linear sampling, our brain will experience aliasing and frames became staggered on top of one another and we can feel slow down and speed up at random places causing us to want to throw up. Watching this too long can seriously cause brain damage due to induced epilepsy.
The reason this happens is pretty much unknown, at least I don't but I have experience this phenomenon before when I used to play doom on a crappy monitor which wasn't able to display the high frame rate the doom was set at, which for video games is easily over 100 frames per second. This is because unlike in real life, video game objects have to move fast to create certain lighting effects and to avoid this epilepsy effect at the same time. This is why it is a very bad idea to stare at a fast blinking light for a long time unless it is so fast that it is continuous to your brain like with an LED (yes it is not continuous like incandescent light) just film it with your phone and you will see the aliasing effect like in this video, it would brighten up and darken randomly as if it flickering. This is because it is fast for you but not fast enough for your camera.
Anyway, the reason I explain all these is because this is AI generated and it is going at a relatively fast rate. Since I don't have a good enough monitor, watching this for too long will make me go crazy. So I am going to stop watching. I recommend every one who can't get the 4k subscription to stop watching too unless you plan to go nuts and blind. Obviously, you will have to explain all the math to your kids since they are all STEM now. Just tell them to study Discrete Fourier Transform and Aliasing, and also Finite Sampling Effect.
