The reason Moody will come off the bench is likely that he plays well coming off the bench. Some players struggle to get into the offense when they don’t start, but Moses doesn’t seem to have that issue. And he’s always come across as a team player who doesn’t put his ego ahead of winning games, so I’m sure he’s fine with it.
Having 4 guys (Podz, Moody, Post, and Horford) who could fill in as a starter is a good problem to have.

For me, while Moody's on-ball D might be slightly better than Podz, Podz rotates on D faster than Moody so these attributes cancel out. Especially since our D is rotate-heavy.
