I would play will Riley over cam whitmore maybe even over kispert , cam isn’t efficient, and doesn’t try on defense, and never passes to the open man

BC’s body looks so much better! Just has to hit his 3’s and he’s golden. He’s a second or 3rd option when we are a championship caliber team. Think Iggy on the Warriors back in the day

Wizards need someone to create offense setting teammates up with essay shorts. Bub is not a player to get in the lane and pass the ball. They need to get AJ a try at point guard or make a trade and get a guard who can close out games.
On Cam : All our young players have had ups and downs so far in this early season, both offensively and defensively. The issues I have with Whitmore are all qualitative. His body language, enthusiasm, and motor are ALL atrocious whenever the ball is not in his hands. Only 5 games in I already feel like he does not mesh with what the Wizards are trying to build, the culture they are trying to create. I understand why the FO took a chance on him and I’d love to be wrong but he will be gone after this season if he can’t fix his attitude.
On Bub: Has clearly lost some of his confidence and has not looked great when compared to how he ended last season. Shot is not falling from anywhere on the court and as you guys mentioned looks confused as to what his role is in our offense. In my opinion Keefe and our personnel have not made it any easier for him. His defensive intensity and energy have been decent, and some of his PnR reads have looked good. To be fair he’s only 20 years old and is being asked to run a bottom 5 offense efficiently. If he can return to form he will raise the level of all our other young pieces, but if he can’t handle NBA PG duties those same pieces might have their development hindered. A lot is riding on Bub’s success especially with his attachment to the Deni trade, so hopefully he turns things around.
Also was nice to see Will Riley continue to flash his advanced feel for the game, another potential late 1st gem for us. Go Wiz
The 4q rotations are no accident… they are making sure of the L's… with Phoenix legitimately playing bad in a loaded west, the wiz have even more of an incentive to tank… having two opportunities in the lottery is huge and we need to guarantee that by finishing with a bottom 4 record. Currently the wiz are in a 4 way tie for that 4th spot with SAC, PHX and TOR and NO, BKN, and IND are all winless… NO and BKN look like locks for two of the bottom four records and SAC and PHX do as well since they are in the West… its not too soon to tank as we cant get too far up in the standings and then do what the jazz did last year… so dont get too upset at Brian Keefe… he's a good / great developmental coach who has a proven track record with stars such as Durant… he's likely a good in game coach as well… the 4th quartet meltdowns and rotations are no accident…
Bilal like Alex is heavier and stronger. Both will continue their progress. It’s not really is 3rd season because of his injuries. CJ is a scorer he had 1 assist. The Wiz out rebounded OKC. Turnovers killed them. I’d bench Middleton. The only way a team trades for him is if it loses a key bench player is out for the year. CJ probably will be a valuable trade piece. Defense was there and then it looked like Jr HS. You are insulting Hartenstein! The Knicks were stupid to trade him!!!!! The Wiz would be winning if they had him. Why are you winning about rotation? They ARE still in TANKING MODE. Give up on cam? He’s raw. He played ONE year in college, he need’s training.
Of the night's starting 5, I'd move Middleton to the bench in place of Bub. The only real defensive liability in that lineup would be McCollum.
Tre may eventually take Bub's spot in the lineup, but Bub is our closest thing to a facilitator right now.
