MISSING ZACH (ouch): Bismack Byombo NEEDS to retire. He was a solid paint presence (D and Rebs) when he was young and athletic — but that physicality was the totality of his game. Nice teammate, but he's a pickup-at-the-Y kinda guy, or maybe Chinese league if he trains. Of course, we just need Luke and Kelly playing — all good then.

Our Spur have faced subpar opponents during their winning streak, but they have done it without 2 starters. It will be interesting to see how things go if Sochan and Fox can join a fully healthy starting lineup.

Man with all da excitement last night I totally 4 got about da World Series N was shocked 2 realize there was a game 7 N da Blue Jays won? Wait what?? Da unstoppable Dodgers actually lost? Wtf just happened? As for Spurs I pray the front office does not settle we still need a 3 D cat like Brandon Ingram/ Trey Murphy 3 type of cat to B legit title contenders. Carter Bryant hardly playing, Harrison Barnes not da same as last year, N Champaigne is damn G leaguer.
What pisses me maybe I am biased but seems every game except Mavericks win all those other teams went on crazy runs like they seem they can not miss especially from 3. Wtf like we get a nice lead n then the other team goes on steroids.

Rich, I thought you were overestimating this team when you originally said 50 wins. Now I think this team is 50 plus wins and a chance at a deep playoff run.
Let’s go! Fox and Sochan come back we get deeper, Julian goes to the second unit with Dylan, Keldon, Jeremy and Kornet. Castle’s turnovers go down because he won’t have as many turnovers. Can hone in on his shot, attacking the basket and getting even better (if possible) on defense. We’re built different this year. Go Spurs!! 🏀

Here is something interesting not only is this the 1st time Spurs started 5-0 in a season but this is the 1st time since the 2018-2019 season that Spurs had a 5 game winning streak at any point and that was the last time Spurs made the playoffs going 48-34. Cant believe it been that long since Spurs had a 5 game winning streak. Nobody on this team was even on the Spurs when we last had a 5 game winning streak. Keldon is the longest tenue Spur but he was drafted in 2019 a year latter.
