  1. Look, I will wait until 25 games in before I pass serious judgement. But if by then, the Suns are 8-17 with little in the way of rookie development, atrocious defense and streaky offense, something will have to give. I think looking at your options for Devin is the only way you can get out of this hole now.

  2. This…team…SUCKS. Just stop. This is a 15-67 finish. Ben, this franchise is a depressing JOKE. The Suns will NEVER win an NBA Championship. They are the NY JETS of the NBA, DEPRESSING AND CURSED. The Suns don't deserve fans. They really don't.

  3. "Ishbia said…" There's the problem right there. This guy should keep his mouth shut about basketball operations. He wrecked a Finals team. He talked about how the vast majority of NBA teams would want to swap rosters with the Suns thereby earning the mockery of the sports media. Suns are not a good team. It will take years to fix this.

  4. We’re forcing the “gritty” label on the suns . Before the season even started . As if you say it enough times it’ll come true. It’s kind of ridiculous. Out sunning the suns? 🤔

  5. Ben, I really like what you're doing on your own with he pod. Makes my boycott of phnx sports a lot easier to stomach. Keep it up!

  6. Sorry Ben but everything this season is (at best) a moral victory. The significance of each game is only what’s learned by our core players. That’s the definition of a rebuild/retool year

  7. I genuinely don’t get what the point of keeper Booker is. We’re gonna be a 25 win team. Why keep him? Trade Booker and get assets while his value is high

  8. Great show Ben i absolutely agree on most of your points especially about not playing our other players. They need to stop relying on specific rotations and fail early by mixing in our other guys, especially on the winnable games 😅 I really wish I knew what the coaches reasoning is for starting Oso and not Williams from this point on

  9. Ben, the Suns fans expectations are still to high and will be highly disappointed. You guys are in rebuilding mode and need draft picks. You guys are rebuilding the culture, which takes time. You guys are gonna blow up on Booker, because you guys overpaid him. Booker is paid like a superstar when he's just a allstar. Yall had no choice but to pay him, the Suns had no other option. Then yall stretched and waved Beal which hurts the Suns payroll. Fans will be happier if you quit saying your gonna make the playoffs. The Suns will be lucky to will 20-25 games in the west. Yall should have draft picks and young players dominating this team.

  10. Empty stats by Booker i have always liked him as a player. However the last few years have shown hes a mediocre NBA player. Hes never been explosive i get it. But he is also no fast or quick. He commits too many TOs and that is because he has a mediocre ball handling and wingspan/lenght which in turn does not allow him to attack the basket consistently or elevate over centers and get his pull ups at times blocked by bigger wing defenders. His shooty can be streaky but hes usually a below average 3 point shooter. If the Suns do pile up losses as expected hopefully they will consider trading him while his value is high

  11. Yeah this is a gross overreaction. 34 10 5 with two turnovers while being double teamed all game is a bad game? I mean if he plays this way every game I’d be happy. Let’s bring up all the WIDE open bricks from three before we blame him. He’s not shooting 11/26 every game. Normal night this is a 40+ point game. Over reacting this early in the season is nuts. Royce wasn’t amazing, he was lost on defense whole first quarter, and shot like 6/18 Allen couldn’t shoot either. Way too early to be complaining in my opinion. But yes defense is worrying

  12. just because you declare you're tough and scrappy and put mouthy Dillon Brooks on your team doesn't mean you are or will be.

Booker did hit those 2 big threes to get the game to overtime though he wasnt that bad.

Sno Bros unite! Even if it's wyt; it's still alright! Normalize wyt people not sucking at basketball! Maybe…..just maybe……we CAN jump!

  13. Ben, you’ve single-handedly made me a Jordan Ott fan. I didn’t like the head coach hire at the beginning because of his lack of experience, but guess what? we just went thru the pedigreed successful (elsewhere) Head Coach files. outside of the Bubble team and the first year of Chris Paul, that effort didn’t get us all the way home. 4 games this season, a totally revamped roster and you have the right answers? you have opinions, thats your job. that’s where it begins and ends. Ott appears to have a plan, let him work it. allow him to work thru this roster as he sees fit. this team is looking for a leader, news flash, Booker ain’t it. he doesn’t have that personality. Brooks doesn’t have it, he’s Luca Brasi, not the Don. go down the roster and show me a warrior leader on this squad. O’Neale comes close but he’s a journeyman. Gillespie will be, if he isn’t cast aside prematurely. nobody else is close right now. but there is talent on this team. but it is raw. show some patience and let this stew marinate, leaders will emerge, players will get their chance. according to the “experts” Ott has some 51 losses to burn thru to find out who the present and future Suns are, sit back and roast some marshmallows, it will work out. but like most things, it takes time. you’ve got a new gig, too, right? only favorable reviews so far, yes? yea, you’re on the same timeline as Ott, remember that. fans tend to be fickle. this years version of the Suns do not suck, they’re not terrible, they’re green and still finding their way. that’s an upgrade. 5 games under 500 wiould be a huge success, sit back and let it happen. no one need be a fan boy this year, but realists are now in demand. be one.

  14. Gillespie surprised me he played well. I still think he's a third string pg. I need more games like this against teams like the nuggets clippers and thunder. Also the Suns should move on from O'Neale. He doesn't contribute to winning basketball he had ok numbers on the stat sheet but he was the primary defender on Markkenan who gave us 50. O'Neal played a huge part in the early deficit. O'Neale is undersized and 1 dimensional.

  15. Controversial opinion..but our most important player this season was always going to be Jalen Green. Season comes down to how he impacts us. Book has lost that dog….he hasn’t been that guy since CP3. He’s not the monster he once was offensively. He can have those games but he isn’t that guy night in, night out. JG could be as Book wants to be a PG. IT’s about that guys. Judge us after a few games with Jalen! Don’t lose hope on us becoming the team we hoped for….we need a scorer!

  16. I feel like you are overlooking the 2 insane 3 point shots that devin booker had yo take to force the overtime. The first one was an insane turn around 3.
