“Monday’s 11:59 p.m. deadline for Herro to sign an extension with the Heat this year passed without the two sides reaching an agreement, a league source told the Miami Herald. After Herro turned in the best season of his NBA career last season, the Heat wants to see how he follows that up in the months ahead. According to a source, the Heat and Herro’s representation had discussions, but the Heat had not made a firm offer as of this past Friday.”

Call me whatever, but I think it’s kind of weak sauce to trade for Giannis. I don’t particularly like Giannis, know everything immediately becomes about Giannis, and I’m just not into it. I understand that if you can, you have to, but I wouldn’t be hoping it happens.
Fox makes some sense, but I also kinda feel like if we’re trading Tyler because we don’t need extra offense, what I’m looking for is a front court piece to strengthen our depth there.
Markkanen is my favorite choice. You push Ware to the bench where he is playing next to the guys he’s going to be playing next to for the next several years. You get one of the best scorers in the world in your starting lineup that can rebound and help defend bigs, who is also really strong in late game scenarios. It would feel less cheap than Giannis, and he would complement what we’re doing more, as opposed to fundamentally changing it.
Hello No. Herro is entering his 3rd year of a 4 year deal valued at 13o million What is the rush to extend him now? Heat have No rush to do so. I want him to stay with the Heat and see how he looks with Powell. Heat should have waited to sign Jovic, as well, right now JJJ looks like he should have got that bag. But it’s a long season hopefully we keep trending in the right direction. The East is open.. Let’s go HEAT

Nope. We need the scoring. When he comes back and he takes 12-14 shots away from the rest of the players who we don't consider scorers, that's going to elevate us. Plus he will draw defenses and get everyone else open. Unless we can get a scorer who can defend better than Herro, let's work with what we got. The grass isn't always greener on the other side.

Herro is a proven +20 scorer, and thats just from the old system. The new system is a constant rotation, no hesitation. Herro excels just as much, if not higher as Catch and Shoot sniper and slasher.
Im commenting a lot lol. But my delusional trade would be Herro for Amen Thompson lol. Only because I'm a sucker for defense. That would be a fun squad imo. Yeah we will be losing some scoring but man, that defense.
The reason they lost againat the Spurs is because they didn't have the 3-pt contest winner and drop destroyer Tyler. Besides, yhey don't have enough picks for a significant upgrade.

You NUTS Roly. Heat is 3-2, and Season is just starting. Some of the Hot Players, are going to come back down to earth. Herro has proven himself a dependable Scorer. Wiggins, Fontecchio, Jovic, JJJ aren't nearly as good. Losing Herro, would be a mistake.
The Miami Heat sucks the story is "trade Tyler Herro" and if the Heat win it all and Tyler Herro wins Finals MVP the story will still be "trade Tyler Herro". Has nothing to do with anything he or the team does.

Why make him expendable when he can make your offense even better if you trade him and the player that you’re getting does not fully meet the expectation that you’re looking for Tyler automatically gives you 20 to 24 points a game on top of what the team is already giving you so hell no.
